Well this is certainly is not like a traditional based MMO this is something completely different. This part in particular is very different and very interesting.

"There are also non-playable characters called Operatives to recruit.

Operatives are persistent characters who work in the background, helping you through missions. They're persistent because they'll carry on performing duties (building vehicles, gathering intelligence, etc.) even if you log off. You'll also be able to keep track of them through e-mail or instant messages."

Also from the interview they mentioned that it could take like a week in realtime for your engineer guys to build you a new car. How cool is that, log in, check progress. Shoot the engineer, hire a new one... Damn i hope we can play as villans

When they talk about stuff like that building cars and weapons ect... do they actually mean you build it from parts and buy stuff or you just select build an it say it takes a week to build it.

nothing has really said to give indication either way.....

But! They did mention that sharks will be in the game and that you could attach lasers to their heads... cause the interviewer had asked if you could have sharks with lasers attached (Austin Powers style).

So i'm guessing that you'll actually be building from parts to incorporate your gadgets n things but as for design meh... i don't know

I wonder how much of the online will have people performing seperate objectives, and how much will be correlated. Like, it'd suck if every time you tried to carry out a mission, some other agent doing his own thing got in the way. Then again, it'd be cool to be able to team up with other players for bigger missions, or to occassionaly have the surprise of things not going as planned. I wouldn't be adverse to, say half way through, suddenly seeing a fellow agent pop out of nowhere; rivalries are fun.
