Warhawk beta invaded by non-invitees through hack?

A few posters in the forum have gotten it to work. Though September is a long way to wait, I probably won't try the hack since getting banned from accessing games through PSN would suck my soul from my body, not really but you know what I mean.

Heads up sony might be scanning every PSN account to see whos not in the beta and who logged in the game without being invited,and might be banned for life, so enjoy piggy backing off other peoples beta invites.

They should have put something in that locks access to the Beta to a particular PSN account, or even a specific system.

The thing that really sucks about people doing this is that they could potentially be modding the game, and causing issues with the beta that would not be there if they were running the original 1.0 beta code. That could have developers on a wild goose chase on bugs that cannot be reproduced in their environments.

Regardless, I hope these issues are straightened out, and that the legitimate bugs are squashed. I'm one of the lucky ones that was picked for the beta, and let me tell you it is FUN... I can't wait until the release to see all you PS3 homies online for a quick game of Warhawk!

I think incognito should be flattered with all the people breaking into the Beta. They should have sent out more invites or at least had a public beta and then you wouldn't have this crap.

When posting a news story always link to the original source of the story. Most websites just recycle news from other websites. Try to track down the site that posted the story first and use that site’s story as the basis for your N4G news post. You can still give credit to the website you first found the story on by putting their address in the “Credit” form.

There are however some situations where linking to another site than the original source is ok. If a website has an updated version of the story with new info or if their article is a lot better written than the original it is ok to link to that article instead. But the general rule is to always link to the original source of a story.

If your story links to a website that is not in English you must translate the story to English on N4G. You should also make it clear that the source is in another language by starting your post with for example: “German website Gamer.de reports that…”

Its weird that it took all the way too the warhawk beta for a story to get posted about this.

You have been able to trick your ps3 with a proxy setup into downloading whatever you want off the store for some time not just warhawk most of them work fine just a couple that the security is adequate on.

there is a posting on exohax.com telling you how 2 hack into the warhawk beta. (you have 2 register on exohax.com before you can view it) its under upcoming games!!
