You aren't gonna get visuals like that on a JRPG.

It certainly looks better then MGS4 and if a JRPG can look better then that game then it's certainly way more then good enough and an amazing feat for a game which has more environments and more varied environments then most games.

Judging games like this on screens alone is wrong. Did MGS4 look amazing? Yes. Do those screens above look horrible? Yes.

The only bad looking screens for those FFXIII ones is the open world area. I wonder why that is? Oh yeah cos it's the OPEN WORLD AREA. When your playing the game on a HDTV and in motion you won't notice it and you won't care because your actually playing the game....

Character models and colours look good, but floor textures look horribly flat and stretched. I don't know if they would ever have made the textures more dynamic, but they could have at least tried.

EASILY 10/10 RPG. The Dreams of 1000 Years were so emotionally wrenching it was unbelievable. One of my favourite RPGs EVER.

hey ^^, look at a MGS4 level! The grafics are incredible! Ok, there are some low res textures, but overall, MGS4 is grafically amazing! And FF13 is looking like a remastered FF12..

You guys are crazy. MGS4 might have looked good when it first came out but compared to recent games, it's not even close anymore. Lots of games look better than mgs4 including FFXIII.

2 - Why are you guys comparing 10-15 hour action and stealth games (uncharted and mgs4) to a 50hr rpg?

That doesn't make any sense. If final fantasy was as short as those games it's graphics would be better too. There isn't anything wrong with the graphics if you want to compare it compare it to other rpg's and you will see that it is one of the best looking if not the best looking rpg so far this generation.

4 - It actually looks great. not great like a few years ago when the first ingame screens were shown but it does look grear

It's by far the best looking RPG to date. But i'm sure FF14 and versus will look better. as there are no comprises being taken for multiplatform development. ^^ I like the look. but i'm sure the game will look better in motion

look how the PS3tards give MS the reason for the graphics! The game looks beautiful.

And i just want to remember you that the 1st time Resident Evil 5 was shown and you all though that the game would be PS3 exclusive, you would never think of, that the game would once look better on the 360 console.

YOu will mark my words, that FF13, which was 4 years in development will look better on the 360 although Square had only 1 year to port the game!

IF THIS WILL HAPPEN, the 360 fanboys will have a reason to say why the game was downgraded.. because of the crappy PatchBetaStation3.
