This game looks amazing! Don't even bother with GOW similarities, this will hold it's own. I like the scenery and hell as a location sounds intriguing.

4.2 - there's a problem with that...
i will be playing GOW:collection all the way till the March release of GOW3, so if it ends up borrowing/imitating too much from the GOW formula, i will have to skip it.

The GOw comparatifs are needed ..There is just too much to compare ...

Nobody want a Gow-rip off when the 3rd GOW is out in a few months ..( not to mention the collection )

So why not compare all FPS games? Oh wait, you already do........ You might as well say because GOW is a 3rd person action game, it's comparable to Ninja Gaiden which I believe came out earlier GOW1. Ninja Gaiden has epic boss battles, multiple combos and spell abilities, different weapons...

What does fighting across the levels of hell attacking demons with a bone scythe have in common with a Kratos using chain blades and fighting mythological beasts?

@ 4.3 please list the comparisons, if you would...

The QTE to finish bosses.
Camera angle.
weapon (scythe) very similar to the blades (in terms of attacks).
Combat system with light and heavy attacks, holy cross could be compared to helios' head.
Riding animals i.e cyclops in GoW III

Sorry but is that hard to compare two or three action games ?
What's preventing anyone to compare GOW , NG, DMC ?? NOthing ...
Action games where you progress while killing the countless ennemies in front of you ...

Comparaisons are possible when it's the same kind of game ...
Why do you think people compared heavenly sword to ? God of war ! WHere they wrong ..?? NO at all ..

Dante inferno will survive in that harsh world of action games if they achieve originality ...

And yeah ..ALL FPS games are compared to each other ... that's why people are comparaing MW2 , battle field , killzone and halo these days ... They have much in common !
