Really? When I was a teenager, I was never very successful with girls. When I got married in 2006, I married a woman that was always open for just about anything and she never made any excuses. Heh, maybe I lucked out, but I'm completely happy being married and not like some Lothario skulking bars hoping to land some drunken bar wench. Being married in a stable relationship is far more rewarding than always being on the lookout for some new conquest.

sidar - I think so yeah, but take the movie industry (Hollywood) in the US for an example, if there's a breast and a naked butt in the movie it's most likely gonna get slapped with an M rating.

You DO realize that the porn industry goes all of the way back to the sex chambers of Egypt don't you? Sex has ALWAYS and WILL always be a part of life. It is a NATURAL instinct in animals to procreate. It just so happens that human beings get PLEASURE from it. Yes, it has become a marketing ploy for magazines and movies. However, it is the social stigma that has been placed on SEX and NUDITY that has caused it to be such a marketing ploy in the first place. As people have stated and I will restate, sex has a place in ALL forms of entertainment AS LONG AS it is context appropriate. No it shouldn't be censored in situations that cater to an adult audience, even IF it is a penis being shown in a movie (which is really not my thing). Ultimately, it is about educating young people about the responsibility, the ills, AND the beauty of sex. Forget about living in the black or white and embrace the gray. That is where the diversity of the human experience really exists.

I did indeed read the interview. Cage's "explanation" is just plain ludicrous. He's basically blaming people's natural tendencies for his lack of good sense. There's NO REASON for GAMES to have pornographic content...unless they're developed/published by Playboy or something. As if games haven't gotten enough bad press by devs intent on "pushing the envelope" in games like GTA:SA, God of War, Mass Effect, etc....now we have this naive idiot setting out to test critics even further. The U.S. has a president who is ALREADY outspoken against video games, and who has Hilliary "games are evil" Clinton in his administration to boot. The ratings system for games is already ridiculous as it is; morons like Cage won't be happy until their games require a "21 or older" label on the front.
Besides, it only serves to splinter an otherwise HUGE demographic of gamers who could/would buy the game (or whose parents would buy it for them). But, if he's so intent on including needless crap in his games, then that's the price he pays. I guess the crappy sales of his LAST game weren't low enough for him; he's shooting for a new low.

His intent to make this game is to push gaming to a point where it CAN be like movies. Some movies are made for children, some for adults, and some ride the fence. For far too long gaming has been seen as a kid's industry despite the fact that adults are predominantly are the ones that drive the industry. What is in this game is FAR from pornographic. However, it IS an intense and potentially sexual situation (read: FOR ADULT ENTERTAINMENT). There is no splintering of the demographic simply because the intended demographic for this game IS adults. You'd have to be naive to think that the average adult could survive playing games if all that was offered was an experience akin to Pokemon or Mario. At some point, we NEED the gore, violence, language, and even sex that a more mature rated game gives. Most times, the experience needs that content to be viable. I would agree if it was just gratuitous usage of boobs, but this is contextual and integral to character development and most importantly to immersion in the game.
