New Name for Lair in Japan

If you're looking to import Lair from Japan later this year, IGN got a wee update you might want to take note of. The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reports that the game has a new name for the Japanese market. Previously known tentatively as just Lair, the game will be released as "Rise From Lair."

Did we change the name of Super Mario Bros. to The Plummer Guys? Why change the name, not that it matters I mean a rose by any other name smells just as sweet! LOL!!! or however that goes.

If Super Mario Bros had its name changed to be indicative of the gameplay, then it would be Super Battyio Brothers - Land of the Homos, and i dunno if that would sell too well. But i can't see anything wrong with the name lair. Mamamia, luigi you stroka my hand for a power-up!

Trusty Bell was the orig name.
They cut the name down for the West.

I think Lair Rising sounds cool.
Though it sounds a bit like a sequel though.

wow captain tuttle. good 1. meanwhile does anyone knw when the demo for this game hits. was all siked up for the game before but games like warhawk and uncharted have sumhow buried that interest deep down and i fear only a demo can resurface it

Dude, according to most sites/magazines/previews...Lai r has a better draw-distance than any game at this point. They said it rivals Crysis running at full graphics...

I don't think you're giving this game the hype it deserves...
