VideoGamer: Top 5 God of War III Demo Moments

The recently released God of War III demo might be the very same portion of the game you've seen numerous times since E3 2009, but it's such a big release VideoGamer has been playing through the demo over and over again. It's a brief teaser, but Sony Santa Monica Studio has still managed to pack in loads of cool, gruesome and stunning moments.

Seriously, someone get that guy a shrink. Kratos has many of the characteristics of a serial killer.

The only remaining question is ... did he wet his bed as a teenager?

well he is a God...and most Gods that people worship on this planet have serious anger management issues and are/were nothing but serial killers / narcissists. Ever heard of infedels or the Inquisition?

He just happens to be the God of War, so I think the anger and blood are fitting. Now move along...

The highlight of the demo was when Kratos threw that spartan off the cliff. I thought I was going to have to save him.

I'm glad Santa Monica Studios is managing to keep that sick, but still sharp, sense of humor, even years after the release of GOW2.

Thats because it wasn't very good.
Zombies move too mast for 30fps to be smooth. The result is a very sore head after just a few minutes.

L4D2 feels like a game that would be at home on a PC 5 years ago.

I'm even more upset because I had to clear my install of Battlestations Pacific in order to make space for L4D2s 1.69 GB size. BSP will be getting installed again tonight.

Also because in the demo there is nothing all that new and exciting. You have to face some Chargers who are easy, spitters who are easier, and a jockey who is fun but also easy. You play as survivors and only survivors. Some new weapons and a melee feature as well as new characters.

Overall the gameplay is the same, but I feel once we can be infected it will be a lot different with the new infected. Until then, why do a top 5 of something that isn't all that new.

11 - That Cyclops' eye tearing and Helios' head tearing...
were the best moments in the demo, you could really see the visceral details of the savage nature of the game. However, I think the head tearing moment should have been bit slower and even more detailed, especially when showing skin stretching and tearing. Because that moment just begs for it.

Just got my email code for the demo for pre-ordering on Amazon. Forgot all about it being a pre-order bonus. Needless to say I was ECSTATIC when I saw the email. Can't wait for the download to finish!
