Just enjoy Halo 3 and forget about what is or isn't happening with Ps3.

I'm still happy hacking away on H2 on Legendary and am in no rush to buy Halo 3 because although it will be better(more vehicles, missions/maps, gimmicks, visuals), at its core is the original Halo game. The huge preorders are from the loyal fanbase built up of the last 5 years.

So just enjoy the game and stop the flaming.

i am NOT a fanboy, and why cant i ask whats comming out on the PS3? soon as though i am waiting for some titles that interest me rather then going along with the rest which are looking forward to games such as Lair. dont get me wrong i think it looks cool, but it doesnt interest me as much as other titles.

secondly you say "just enjoy Halo 3 forget about what is or isn't happening with Ps3." well like i said i am looking for a reason to buy one, but if there isnt any games which i will play then it makes more sence to wait till there out and maybe i will be lucky and get a price cut. also i am not going to be buying Halo 3 straight away.

i never said anything about this, and yes its true as i have hardly played Halo 1/2 (brother has Halo 1, played Halo 2 around a mates once) so naturally i HAVNT pre-ordered a copy, and i probadly wont.

which i personally think is a genuine comment as everyone wants better gameplay and graphics, which is the point in next gen consoles, and also i own a PSP, PS2, Xbox 360, PC (yes i am a PC gamer aswell) so, because there HAS been soo much news lately and its hard to keep up with it all i SIMPLY asked if ANYONE knew what the 30 titles where, as i STILL play my PS2 sometimes, i STILL play my PSP and especially with the recent news of a personal favourite game coming to the PS2 i was curious to know if anyone had heard of these games comming to the next gen consoles.

so you stop flaming when you say stuff like

although you may be disagreed with, or you may have your bubbles taken away from etc because of your choice of words i do KINDA agree, as stated in comment #1,2 i am questioning this article as i dont see any GREAT sequals with loads of followers coming out between now and end of september.

If Final Fantasy (cant say MGS4 as its not multi platform) but yeh if Final Fantasy came out between now and end of september, then i would agree with this article and would love to see what happens like which sold more etc, but with the titles mentioned in the article i can not see how this article is really valid... remember this is my "opinion" and dont argue as we are all entitled to our own opinion.

now as all the titles arnt listen in the article i am prepared to say i was wrong, but as for now i agree with SuperSaiyan4 (although not with his choice of words)

so like i said in comment #1 does anyone know what these other titles are? (which would add up to 30)

Final fantasy has been pushed to Spring '08 . . http://www.gamepro.com/news... so scratch that one off the huge list of games . . . And, Haze has just been un-exclusived by Free-Radical . . . countering to internet claim that the game was to be a PS3 "exclusive" . . . It will be coming to the Xbox360 and PC, just not right at the same time

Which is a good thing really, as it's a great game, and would be lost in amongst all the other AAA titles coming out at that time, and seen as a wise move on Ubi's behalf actually. They have 6 major titles hittingthe shelves in the later part of the year, several of those Xbox360 exclusives . . .so one more OFF that list won't hurt either the company, or the gamers alike.

Microsoft will have so much media attention that Sony will need to do something to draw attention away, in any way they can. They may have some new games yet unannounced they may drop or lower the price of the PS3, announce some new hardware, or any combination. Halo3 will likely sell some hardware--the question is how much; the media frenzy will be more free advertising for M$ (though they'll also be doing their own).

Really, "nothing to see here" -- as its common sense Sony will do some of this to draw attention away. gCM

Even if killzone 2 came out the same day as Halo3, you think it will out sell halo3? Be a realist for a change, man. The Sony loyalist kill me sometimes. They wait for the halo killer,and while they wait they hate everything that is halo, but wish it to be on the PS3 hmmmmmmm, suspect to Fanboyism don't you think? Last time I checked, 2 million plus people playing a two year multiplayer with no real complaints sounds sucessful to me. Another thing, do you really think Little Big planet, and Home is going to change the face of Sony as we know it? Given that they both have no real suscessful track record like Halo.

Because if they did you would know that you can play against each other and each other only. You don't have to play against people of ranked and watch them destroy you. Halo 2 became popular because of Halo 1. Halo 1 became popular because of its multiplayer experience. There was no Live play but every single person that is still playing Halo 2 played Halo 1 on system link, there was no cheating there. Why? because you were playing amongst friends. Which is what you should do with Halo 3. But instead, play online and you will not have to deal with no cheating. Nuff said.
Now for Halo 3 being countered, I don't see anything that will counter it. The only thing that had a chance was GTA, but MS was smart enough to bring Halo 3 out sooner than we all expected. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a rush job.

The plain and simple fact is that as of today, Halo has more pre-orders than Sony has sold PS3s. Without a price cut, Halo might sell more copies at launch than PS3s in the while in September.

Sony should be careful about shipping too many of their few exclusives at the same time, though; they all fall more or less into the same genre of third-person action games, body-count-driven adventures, and they could end up cannibalizing each other. (The only thing worse than no exclusives, is exclusives that sell slowly and fritter away the hype.)

Again, they only viable alternative open to them is a noticeable price cut. (And that assumes MS is *really* going to wait until November 22nd to do their price cut.) If MS takes Nintendo seriously and cuts prices in July, all bets are off.

???????? Little big planet a classic? You haven't played it yet. Lets not get carried away. Little Big planet has no track record you have no idea how complex the map making is going to be. Yet and still it's going to be a classic? With Halo, you know what you're getting. the name holds a track record. If they were to release little big planet with Halo3 which one would people buy? Yes, little big planet because you can create your own maps and that's better because you can't do that in Halo3. Come on, those million pre orders for halo are thinking the samething too.

Oh ffs giovanni, give it a f*cking rest. Hes allowed to state his own opinion, LBP brings alot more creativity than another f*cking shooter for the xbox 360. I really hope for your sake the graphics in Halo 3 are better than the current beta, otherwise it will be a largely overhyped flop.

Im starting to wonder if this Halo killer thing was created to actually create a buzz around Halo 3, Killzone 2 MAY surprise people more than they'd expect.

First off, I don't have a problem with him stating his own opinon. However, don't be bias. We all know the power of what Halo can bring. Nothing will stop it. You and I know that, give it it's proper dues and stop comparing it to games you think are going to knock it out the box. PS fans have been trying for years to kill what was Halo. I'm not saying its the best game on the planet, but there is a rason why people are buying it and why it's so sucessful. So just let them release Halo Hell, Sony wasn't too worried about Halo 1 and 2.
