Resistance Online Goes International

Accoring to a recent Japanese press release from Sony, the following will take place June 1st;

- Resistance International servers, as well as the map pack will be available June 1st, with the map pack costing 800yen.

- Motorstorm content will be made available at the same time, no price was listed.

- Folk Soul demo will also be uploaded to the PSN on June 1st.

Resistance isn't the first international PSN game, although in my opinion its the best FPS for PS3, which is what makes this update so nice.

Ridge Racer 7 has been international since launch, so stop bragging about your xbox live service :P

Y'all got 2 international games, can't voice talk in many of them, can't use a global messaging system from within the games, can't listen to custom soundtracks from your PC or 60Gb hdd, can't invite/join games from across the board, can't d/l music/HD movie content/pictures and themes, can't IM users on cell phones or PCs...BUT it's free!!!

Wow indeed, I can't believe with "PSN" you have to wait for international servers to be put in place just to play online games internationally...

You know I've been playing games like Ghost Recon, RainbowSix and Halo on Xbox Live for years, and against "excellent" European and Austrian players. All I can say about them is that they are fun to play with and great players.

BTW, completely unrelated, but has anyone tried adjusting there PS3 to support full RGB yet?!?! It comes with the latest firmware patch. Honest to god guys. It's one of the best features and I think it might be a little overlooked. I was playing resistence today with it enabled and it looked so good! All the colors look richer and everything looks so sharp. You know how most PS3 games have been looking blurry and washed out? I'm going through all my games again and it feels like I'm playing an updated version. Sorry for getting off topic, but if you can,you should all go and try this.
