the signup for this beta was public on the playstation page a week ago. They only accepted a limited number of people, so sadly there are quite a bunch of people that didn't get accepted (and if you did not have a US/Canada playstation registered on the playstation website, you wouldn't even be considered eligible when you signed up)

the warhawk website says there will be "future tests"..whatever that means...this beta goes on for about 5 weeks...not sure if they will extend it depending on the feedback they get...but keep your eyes open, they didn't even announce this beta until gamers day...which was under 2 weeks ago...and the sign ups only lasted a day or so...

I am bummed though...I saw the interview with Jobe and camped on the website until it opened last thursday...was all excited all week...and then was one of the many that didn't get in...and a lot of the guys that did get in barely knew what this was even about...they just followed a link in an email they recieved...

out of curiosity, what type of connection are you guys that got in running? lined? wireless? NAT1,2,3? I selected wireless and my connection settings claimed a NAT 3...wonder if that had anything to do with it...

28 - This game is sweeeeeet.

I have hosted a few games already, although it just wigged out and froze on me (my dsl is crap).
This game kicks ass! What I can't get over is how smooth it is. Allot of crap going on and its really smooth. Inredible sound too.
I myself suck ass at using a controller on these games ( I play Pc online allot) but it does control pretty nice.
