On a PS3... i wonder why...

Anyway, i doubt he played it straight through. I'm betting he just left it on like how i sometimes do when i decide to go out to buy food at a nearby mcdo or JITB (jack in the box) but end up at Olive Garden or TGI Fridays or some steak house.

stop sh!tting on GTA4, it's still the best GTA I ever played. I had a blast with the free mode online, and driving over people was never such fun with those physics. people complained it had become to realistic, but I just liked that added realism. I also have saints row 2 but i really disliked the unrealistic and childish car handling.

the only negative point of gta4 I agree with are the friends activities, but you can just ignore them.

GTA:SA is still the best GTA for me. No amount of MS exclusive DLC for GTAIV is going to top the content that was packed on disc for San Andreas.

That's why there was a cover system in the game. It goes hand in hand with the auto-aim.

Apparently it has become somewhat fashionable to critisize GTA4 on N4G. I bet if it was ps3 exclusive you'd all have a good chug over the game.

Thats why you just played online games that had auto-aim turned off. I love how you say that an optional feature ruined the online for you. I thought online was the best part. The story was boring. Plus I killed a Rockstar so that made my day.

You know, you guys can bash my opinion all day... but it is like this:

Auto Aim is an OPTION, but it is ON by default. If I create a game to keep it off, odds are I waited a while for joiners. If I join someones room to play faster 99% of the time it was on and the host wouldnt shut it off even with requests.

With all the games out there to play, how long do you think this process went on before I said: "Screw GTA4".... Not long. Plus, Single player was booooring. I said it from the day it released... I hated it compared to old GTA titles. Love it, or hate it... that is my feelings.

didn't play much deatchmatch, most of the time just free mode, where I had helicopter vs car chases or copter vs copter with friends... such things make gta4 unique. Don't know any who can offer such unique moments.

I guess I'm a weird one then huh? I didn't care for the multiplayer (though I usually don't care for any multiplayer) but I loved the single player. It's easily one of the best stories ever told in a video game. I don't understand the love people have for Vice City though. It was a blatant Scarface clone. Which is alright I guess but it wasn't an emotionally powerful story. I really liked Vice City Stories though. That's the underappreciated GTA. Especially the hand to hand combat. I wish GTA IV would've kept that.

But I guess people just aren't ready for a mature story huh? Am I alone here?

I liked the Single player...and I LOVE the Multiplayer ALOT.

I still play it, GTA RACES being my favorite.

And the hit detection is very good, btw.....for the guy saying it wasn't.

Auto Aim. Hold the lock on and then slightly press up on the right stick and fire. Instant headshot. Cover system? It doesnt work properly.

San Andreas was the best by far. The scope of the game is just something you gotta play. It's $9.99 on steam... maybe less than than now. If only San Andreas had physics like GTA4...

I agree. Hosting on GTA4 was a pain for some service providers. It was weird.

I think you would have to be sober for this endeavor. If you were smoking weed after 24 hours of no sleep it would really get to you. Also drinking the bum juice makes your body tired when it wears off. Stop giving drugs a bad name. And if you are going to use one, this situation calls for Crack, Cocaine, Speed etc. Not weed and booze.
