If there is a sequel hopefully it's for both the X360 and PS3. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the sequel was for a portable system as that seems to be a trend with Japanese developers.

4 - after much consideration
and looking at ps3/360 sales...the most logical option following trends in the industry will be...

a DS/PSP game.

bank on it.

hmmm, I'm not sure they should do it. I mean, ToV was a great game, just like ToS was, and we all know how the latter's sequel ended up...Plus, just like most RPGs (in my opinion that is), the game seemed like a complete package to me (despite only playing the 360 version), I'm not too sure how a sequel would work. And if they want to do a "X years later" kind of things with new characters, why bother, the cahracters and the battle system made the game great, not its somewhat bland world...

For the love of all that is good in this world, please go through with this idea! I can't get enough of Tales of Vesperia and I'd love the chance to play yet another game with such awesome characters. But I'd be heartbroken if they did follow the awful trend of putting sequels into hand-held devices. If anything, please put it on either the PS3 or 360. Please!!!

I found Tales of the Abyss to be better than ToV.

That's just me tho.

They need to put a little more kick ass into the series.

Anyone who plays knows if your in a jam all you have to do is spam Destruction Field with Yuri and its a win.

The mystic artes weren't all that either.

Looking forward to Mistwalkers next project.
