Rumored PlayStation Store Content for 10/15/09

This week is looking rather empty compared to recent weeks. Although we are pretty sure most of you are just fine with playing Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. topatoi will finally be coming to North America. Also this week Creat Studios' latest, Mushroom Wars makes its debut. Other than that we'll see a demo or two, and hopefully, more PSP content to make up for last week's lackluster offering.

I'm still waiting for Trine...:-p Its been out in Euro territory for a while, whats the hang up I wonder.

PSP mini's- not sure I understand the appeal quite yet. I refuse to pay $3 more on my PSP Go than on iTouch/iPhone for the same game. Anyone know why Apple is able to get around the ESRB?

Because the App Store isn't just for games, so they really have no process in place for requiring an ESRB rating. You don't have to have a game rated for it to be sold, in fact getting an ESRB rating is completely voluntary. But many retailers won't carry your game if it isn't rated. So, the fact that Apple (the retailer in this case) doesn't require the rating means that there is no incentive to small developers to get rated.

Also, the cost for rating is based on your development budget. $800 for < $250k and $4k for > $250k.

I played the new Ratchet and Clank level, for only 3 minutes. I went to walmart at 12am to get my U2 copy and since they cant sell it they have it in the back warehouse.

So as i was waiting i was on the ps3 kiosk and played it for a little bit untill they got my U2 copy, it was fun using those boots which skate forward, and hoover if you jump (think Infamous 2 hover).

Go to your Local Walmart they might have it updated for you.
