I've got a feeling that they're not going to make a new one. If i remember well there was only one twisted Metal on PS2 and after that It's as if they(sony) totaly forgot about the IP. Last TwistedMetal game I played was on PSP and that was about 5 years ago.

sony should make a new one.

here is my wish list.
1 custom soundtracks
2 create a character
3 the return of all the characters
4 Maps that are from different places around the world. not just one region like black was. and mix it up and not just be major cities. have a huge city, but then have like a old mining town with access to the mines and crazy dark caves and high mountain peaks with snow.... and a yeti??? Then have like a swampy place, coastal area, amusement park, a huge mall parking lot with a 3 story mall and a parking garage. then have like a classic map section with previous maps remade in hd.
5 its got to be dark like Black was. As in M rated.
6 ability to get out of cars. you car is about to explode, you hit a button, jump out and jack a gasoline tanker for one last suicide mission(hit the weak spot for massive damage?!!)
7 local 4 player splitscreen, and 16 player online. anymore than that and you would be hard pressed to find a decent parking spot....

Is my favorite game of all time!
Twisted Metal 2, and Black being the best.
It needs good physics, usable weapons with different characteristics, and bring back the special attacks!
I always liked twisted metal two because it played like a fighting game.
Left right up!

My main feature wanted in a new TM.. Would Be Create a character.. With the blu Ray disc you could have a HUGE create a character section.. Mix and match cars.. IE Ferrari Front end with a Truck camper shell back end.. Also each part of the car will have its own attributes soo mixing and matching will either make you faster and less armor or slower and can take more damage.. Also instead of Pick up weapons.. How about You have to buy weapons and you can only get soo many on your car..

Ima huge create a character fan haha

Also have a Huge selection of specials.. Or each car is can have 2 or something.. or Create a special..

It's Twisted Metal PS3 no doubt about it. If you have been following Jaffe as of the last 2 years, he might as well come out and make it official at this point.

Twisted Metal Black was a damn good PS2 game. Graphics, Art Direction, Gameplay. It was all there. I have high hopes for this one. The online is really going to be a treat.

Twisted Metal was the first PSX game i get i remember playing it for hours but Twisted metal 2 was the best of the series Needles Kane was just epic in every game specially in black i hope to see this one with open world and dynamic weather and by dynamic weather i mean tornadoes, storms rain/ice and even earth quakes if possible.
