Of course most of those people dont own PS3's so who cares what they think. I'm sick of people seeing a screenshot or a snippet of video and thinking they know enough about a game to condemn it. For myself, I'm sure it will be beautiful, solid shooter they wont change the world as we know it and I'm not hyping it up any more than that. Thats why I'm bound to enjoy it when it does come out. Realistic expectations.

i truely do feel sorry for the meth doers that believe ps3 cant do cg in game like i said there is a supercomputer inside the ps3, they are the things that make cg in the first place, plus two things that supercomputers dont even have and that is a GPU, and a Blue Ray Player, if i were you if you think even though they have surpassed the killzone 2 trailer that is so called "CGI" then keep doing meth, and note of advice if i were you i would stop worrying about killzone 2 and if it will look like or almost like or even better than the trailer, i would be more concerned about what will come after killzone next on the ps3 2, and why do you keep bringing up halo 3, halo 3 wont even look better than crysis or glitches of ware, killzone 2 WILL destroy any and everything in graphics, because i will tell you another secret about the choice hardware for ps3:

1st: the supercomputer- i dont want to be the bearer of bad news but for those of you that believe that killzone 2 graphics are to hard and unachiveable for ps3, sorry but the truth is that the cell alone can make graphics far b3yond killzone 2, supercomputers are the cg film makers anyway, just think of the movies made that have used cg like the incredibles, eragon, spiderman 3, harry potter movies, and so much more but the thing is ps3 has things that can take games further than these movies like,

2nd: RSX- this is a intensely powerfull gpu that many are counting out as old technology and a g71, even if so that doesnt matter for this gpu's role in the ps3, and if the so called g71 is so weak then why in the world was it able to render the amazing graphics for motorstorm alone, yeah thats right, the graphics did no rsx and cell synthesis the only thing that cell was used for was physics, dynamics, a.i. and frame rates, and to that point only used 10-15% of 2 of the cells 9 processors, and with no cell and rsx merger, but to give you a clue of what happens IF cell and rsx merge which aint happened in nothing on ps3 yet, but maybe KILLZONE 2:

what i am about to let you in on is something that you will see why rsx is only a tiny part of the ps3s graphics output, but can be deadly to boosting the already TRUE photo realism even further, and no matter how weak it is it wont really matter

you see the cell is a superocomputer on a ha, chip believe it or not, which means it uses processors not cores, and believe me there is a giant difference between cores and processors, here is the difference, you see in supercomputers all that a supercomputer is is a cluster of computers, that work together for multiple purposes, one of those things are rendering incredible graphics, and things like say uh "4d" yes only a few have seen 4d but it is very much real, one of the most notable things that supercomputers do is render your cg films for your games like previous final fantasy games(no longer needed for ps3, as you can see for final fantasy 13 and versus) and other games like your precious halo 3 that you are claiming that will look better than killzone 2, the only thing that may look better than killzone 2 on halo 3 is the cg intro, but the supercomputers are so powerfull that they cant even render there full potential on consoles or pc, but since ps3 has a supercomputer they aint gonna ever need a supercomputer again, and here is proof that a supercomputer cant render its full potential on console or pc, do you ever notice that the movies on tv and the big screens graphics and rendering look much greater than the cg films on your consoles, or pc oh, it is very true, as a matter o fact they have to spend much money to fit some cg on consoles, and pc because they are struggling on the availible hardware, but then again think about it how much do movies cost, ah say something like 20 mil or over, hmm interesting, so why would guerilla games be spending 22 million on killzone 2, it is quite obvious that they are developing for a supercomputer, but let me tell you a reason why they WILL surpass the trailer, there is an ability that they CAN do on the ps3 that is obsurd, and that is, do you all remember the so called "cg" films that sony displayed, well if you do the hardware design of the ps3 CAN easily manipulate and even greatly surpass the target renders, and movies on the big screen, you see the supercomputer in the ps3 enables a little something like this, get ready, they can literally paste a cg film into the cell and put it in playable form, does that sound bizarre to you, well it is completely not, this is why guerilla games is very confident that they can surpass the trailer, because once the copy the cg onto the cell, then they can access some of the other processor power that is availible on cell and definately ultimately surpass the trailer, now there is another reason why this game will not be by far the end of ps3's graphic reign:

now while this game will most definately use rsx synthesis, and most definately edge tools this game doesnt have a shadow of a chance of comming close to maxing out ps3 even at the 22 million dollar budget here it is:

with cell and rsx synthesis here are your new odds of power

first 1 cell and 1 rsx, but after the merger here are the new odds that the ps3 has in its favor

because the funny design and extensive planning and pure genious behind the ps3 that was over 10 years, by pure geniouses, the rsx has an incredible ability that none on pc or 180 have and that is the power of "synthesis" because this chip can synthesise, and because the cell has seperate processors that have a mind of their own and have their own clock speed and spec, this is what that enables with the merger

when in the original hardware, in base form the spec is 2.18tflops, but the thing is that when this combination of rsx and cell occurs, this happens

1 rsx X 1 cell since cell has 9 processors and cell has the power to merge, that enables this=9 rsx gpu's across, 9 processors moving at a clock speed of 3.2 ghz each(hopefully you see now why no matter how weak the rsx is, if there are 9, they aint weak no more, thats like say, in dbz if piccolo is weak at like the cell series part of the show, do you honestly think that he would be weak if he had his power amplified or multiplied by 9, and let me tell you if you think that graphics are the only thing that this merger is capable of you are sadly mistaken, you see it is impossible to use 100% of one of the cells 9 processors, that leaves extensive room for physics, a.i., and great frame rates, even dynamics, trust and believe when a developer is willing to shell out as much money as guerilla games we will have games that will definately surpass killzone 2 for ps3 and only possible on ps3, games will get smarter, faster, much much more realistic graphically, and with their fluid movement, we will begin to see games where if in a normal game a character recieves an injury you will no longer see minor realism, but you will see things such as cuts, tissue damage, blood actually leaking, and the blood will actually get your close wet and stained, also things like if you are cut it will be much more realistic, the shirt or armor will recieve cuts and tears, facial expressions will begin to get more realistic, we will begin to see games with say a bone breaks we will actually be able to see the bone break and characters react to the arm injury, car games will begin to be much more realistic, such as real denting in vehicles where you will actually see scratches and paint scrapped away from cars, you will start to if there is an accident seats will fly out of the vehicle, people will fly out of the vehicle, if a car crashes on the wrong side of the road by cause of a nother vehicle that was going the right way both cars will crumble, much like in the matrix reloaded, we will begin to see games where if you zoom in the walls with the guns things wont look ugly like still being seen in games such as crysis and glitches of ware, i can assure you this problem wont be in killzone 2, and more to come on ps3, we will begin to see games where there will be much fluid hair movement even way more so than heavenly sword, games will start to have hair movement that the seperate hairs like real humans move.

oh and you know that little nuclear bomb explosion that was shown on crysis that you all thought was so amazing, that aint nothing compared to how a nuclear bomb can be portrayed on the ps3, do you happen to remember terminator 3 when terminator threw out his old reactor battery, well there was a nuke, warhead like explosion, since that was cg rendering, that is easily maniplulatable on the ps3s b3yond supercomputer powers in rendering, we will begin to see fog in games, breath comming out of characters mouths, games can get so real on ps3 that when your battling enemies, they will actually be talking to you, in the way that it happens in the real world if you were in a fight, there will start to be games with thousands of people on screen in games and possibly tens of thousands, and rendered in wonderfull detail, this can be already proven with the gdc edge tools presentation, i can go on and on about things that you will get outta your ps3 but that is all for now

sounds unreal but, it is a r3ality, and is also the reason why sony just lets you talk trash for the here and now but is soon to unleashe on unbelievers, and also the reason why phil harrisson stated, "no one will ever max out the ps3."

Oh, and did i forget to tell you that the real parallel processing power greatly takes a leap with the rsx and cell merger, yeah that 2.18 ghz, ha that is trumped drastically when the merger happens, so i guess you can say from that that sony did lie for something, but they didnt lie about the grapics power(they really understated it), the smartness of the machine, or the speed.

I said all of that to say this, many of you believe that killzone aint possible on ps3 because motorstorm didnt make the target render, think about some key factors before you say that the motorstorm game didnt surpass the trailer:

1. budget- this motorstorms budget wasnt anywhere near enough to get to the target render, ill bet it wasnt even 10 million, but yet it came with good graphics, also the graphics are up to par, or greater than anything on the 1box180 or pc, and please dont come up with that lame excuse of crysis, if it looks better than motorstorm it aint by much, and also crysis is very very soon to be trumped horribly, by none other than B3yond.

2. The renderer- this game only used the rsx for grapics rendering, there was no rsx and cell merger.

3. Development team- this team was small, had no prior supercomputer experience(you have to understand something about games and their cg, first of all the team that makes realtime is not the same team to make cg, first the game is made by the game developer licenced for the particular game, then the developer writes a script and draws up images that he wants availible for viewing in these cg films, then he hands that over to the supercomputer developers, now as i have told you cg cost alot of money, but cg synthesis has to cost even more money) the point of that is if this team had more experience the game couldve definately surpassed the trailer.

4. Developer numbers- there were nowhere near 120 developers, there are normally alot of developers to make a cg film, and even more to make movies that use cg, motorstorm definately didnt have enough developers.

5. Time Frame- this game was INCREDIBLY rushed, tell me how the first finalized ps3 was at about August 2006, and developement kits were out at the end of August, and the game was released in March, that is not alot of developement time, oh and let me let you in on something, all that you saw before then for motorstorm were basically tech demos, but yet the game came out looking superb, but sh!t compared to what the future holds for ps3 B3yond.

6. EDGE tools- at the time of release there wasnt even edge tools availible, now that alone says alot.

now there is something that applies to all games that have so called no delivered as some of you say, and that is RUMBLE in the controllers, let me ask you something, would you truely want to play B3yond graphics without rumble? I surely wouldnt want to, just think how realistic would that be, now the six axis control is realistic alone, but there is no way you can actually feel out the intense graphics that the ps3 has to offer without a rumble it would be like having part realism part not.

another thing is there are many things that will be completely ruined thanks to microsofts bribery attempts at former sony only developers, like how gta could have looked, no matter what you say 180s hardware can not make cg/realtime this game will be ruined, also dmc 4, i was after a few monts i had been wondering why the graphics on dmc 4 had stopped, then the answer was revealed to me after the game was annouced for the 180, D1CKsoft managed to step into dmc 4 developement before ps3s dmc 4 developement got to far, even pc messed it up it seemed as if they tried to stop ps3 developement before it got to far, and i also firmly believe that Virtua Fighter 5 could've looked much better if the 180 version hadnt have been added into the equation, there limited hardware power is truely putting ps3 in a bind.

there is also something that is really getting me pissed why in the H3ll do you idiots keep bringing up multiplatform looking better on the 180, you do know that the game was originally built for 180 right, and how do you expect them to copy middle gen graphics over to next gen, how do expect them to make graphics that arent even challenging the hardware to perform better on the ps3, how do expect them to translate middle gen graphics onto a machine that was made for cg ingame and B3yond, it cant happen it would be like asking a siberian to come and live in california, that isnt any way to compare what you think the machine is capable of just by multiplatform titles or even the current titles that are availible for ps3 or even LAIR, HEAVENLY SWORD, or UNCHARTED, in order to get to see the true innards of ps3 you will have to wait for some time, then you will begin to see games that will surpass the e3 2005 trailers by much.

And, one funny thing that pc fans say is that crysis cant run on ps3 or 180, now that is the funniest joke of our time, if you believe that this game will compare to some games that are comming for ps3 this year you are in a serious meth ring, that game WILL SOON be forgotten.

And there is one other game, well never mind many more but this game called unreal tournament 2007 will NEVER have the original look, thanks to pc and 180 do you remember the trailer for the game in e3 2005, well now the game will never come close to that it couldve looked better than that, but hey.

And do you all know how Killing Day another game that wouldve drowned crysis, mysteriously dissapeared, ill tell you what D1CKsoft dont want you to know the reason why the game was cancelled wasnt all ubisofts fault, it was 1/2 and 1/2, one half was microsoft bribery to them to stop the game because some kinda way the game was slated for release on the 1box180, but microsoft was like whoa, there is NO WAY in the world our 180 can handle these kind of visuals, so they quickly paid ubisoft to stop developement of the game, now this goes hand in hand with the many set backs of ubisoft titles that are multiplatform that were supposed to be comming for ps3, and the comments that were said recently by ubisoft, oh and do you notice something funny about the name of the company, hmm ubisoft-D1CKsoft, if you cant get something is funny about that i think you are on meth hard.

now i have said all of this to say this, microsoft knows some of what is in store for ps3, and so does sony, yeah thats right they dont even know all of what the ps3 WILL be capable of, and neither does ibm, when phil harrisson said no one will ever max out the ps3, yes he did mean the graphics, but the thing is that he couldve been more realistic and said no one will ever come close to maxing out ps3, oh well i guess he was just being nice, and did i not tell you another secret of the genious in ps3s hardware, do you know that the makers some of way made it where the hardware gets more powerfull during the ps3s lifecycle, this is why ps3s cell is state of the art meaning "i first time occurence, and major technological advancement" but that just aint the cell that is the entire ps3 together as well, and this aint including the system updates that the ps3 will recieve during the lifecycle, you can listen to the 180 and pc fans all you will but it will not change the ineveitable, WHAT WILL HaPPeN WIlL HAppEN, their little words cant change what IS done, believe them and you will find yourselves looking dumb, just as they will be when it begins to go down, and i will say i told you so, you keep saying sony lied this time, well there is to much already shown to say that that they lied this time that is for sure, and i also have 9 vailid reasons why they wouldnt lie this time especially about graphics:

1. To much at stake this time, sony is banking the success of their company on the success of the ps3, i would highly doubt that they would lie this time around the ps3 has a sorta slow start, it will catch up and in a bigger way than you think when developers exploit some of ps3s real power, but a lie from sony this time from sony could result in instant loss.

2. WAY to much money invested into the ps3. Sony has invested over 40 billion dollars on the ps3 alone, and now will invest another couple billion on rumble back in the controller would you invest that much money on a lie. Microsoft hasnt invested anywhere near this much money on the 180 to this day, infact they are taking your money live still cost money; on the second weakbox. Lesson from sony (greed gets you no where)

3. WAY to much developer money invested into the ps3 Guerilla Games for example 22 million in the first year of the ps3, Final Fantasy ??,???,??? then Eight Days ??,???,??? then Metal Gear ??,???,??? then Drakes Fortune ??,???,???. Point being they must no much more about what the machine is capable of to invest this much money into the ps3 in the baby years of the ps3.

4. To much industry money invested into the ps3 IBM the cell processor the next generation of their supercomputer on a chip all betting on the ps3, Toshiba also with there blue ray player although it is a joint developement with sony and toshiba still way too much money.

5. TOO much prooven in the baby infant days and months of the ps3 with games and tech demos showing never before seen things that usually happen in a cutscene and only in the first 6 months come on man give it up already.

6. If sony is lying then IBM, NVIDIA, TOSHIBA, and SONY are all lying so that is too much lying and could put all these industries in a dilema of their former market dominace and position.

7. To much trash talk last generation. Remember last generation in every magazine the original weakbox had a better graphic rating than the ps2, sony wasnt going to have it this time they decided we aint just gonna dominate with games this time, every area will be consumed by us.

and lastly

8. The planning and preparation of the ps3. Sony along with IBM, TOSHIBA, and NVIDIA planned ps3 in a timeframe in which ps2 was still in its prime and that was about 7 years and some change ago now keep in mind this was not the planning that was done for the ps2 that was hardly any time and they didnt know what to expect from weakbox 1 this time they were prepared for not only the next weakbox but pcs to, keep in mind that the majority of these hardware desighners are japanese and japanese are arguably the smartest people on earth and i know that because everything in their city's are more advanced than ours, they have also come up with a supercomputer on a chip something microsoft will never do now planning for that long by geniouses the results are not pretty.

9. The hardware is practically everything to make a movie and more and with the tools to convert movie into realtime:

- supercomputer
- RSX (REALITY SYNTHESISER, meaning to blend make something better than previously availible like the fusion technique with goten and trunks to make gotenks, or goku and vegeta to make veggeto. (X unknown)
- Blue Ray (Next Gen Movie format

if you still believe they are lying then maybe that just aint what you think it is just is something to discourage ps3 and sony fans, and also you do meth, i have seen to much and i definately see much and more as a r3ality, so 180 and pc and trash talkin fans if you think that you have the explanation of ps3 just do the right thing go smoke meth.

oh and you know when you post untruth you endanger D1CKsoft, because you that say that the 180 or the 360 comming in 2010 is more powerful than the ps3 or eqaull, people are expecting YOUR hype machine to carry out your claims of what you say to be true as well, so if you say this and say it over and over again on each site, but dont have the slightest idea of what you are talking about with no proof just babbling, when the graphically amazing next gen b3yond jump begins to happen, tell me where will that leave D1CKsoft, you know alot of people will begin to trade in there 180s, but the thing is that this was sonys plan all along, they knew if they released games that were only a little or equal or a little better in the first few months of the ps3s lifecycle, that you would all jump the gun and really truely believe that the 180 is equall or more powerfull than ps3, well the thing is many of you took the bait and are hooked, but where does that leave us when sony truely unleashes ps3 that will leave D1CKsoft looking dumb, and many will feel D1CKsoft lied, because of YOUR words, also this will cause a massive backlash, people will truely start really wanting the ps3 then, despite the high price that you always state, this graphic leap will be so high that you will have no choice but to switch sides, also those of you that belive that the wiik will bear so well after this jump you are in for a big suprise, sony are truely geniouses,

while on the subject of wii, something just occured to me, it was just announced that wii is outselling the ps2 in this point in ps2s lifecycle, that may just be true, but the thing is how long will that hold up, and one thing is that many of you dont notice that Sh1tendo is selling the wiik for the same price as last gen machines, meaning the same price or less for 2 generations of consoles, that isnt very impressive, of course people will buy the thing for now, but when the graphics begin to look really like 10 years ago on the wiik, there will be returns and sales WILL slum horribly, ill tell ya why, you see last gen with ps2 the ps2 did have the worst graphics, but by how much, not by much id say as a matter o fact the graphics are yet improving, now not only is it another generation but the wiik will be not 1 but 2 gens behind in graphics, that dont hold up to well, now you know i could be wrong but i could be terribly right, things can look good at first, then horrible later, or horrible or bad now but make an inconceivable turn around later, or sooner than many believe, so this is my post.

fans of other machines great and small take heed, be carefull what you post, it just may be the downfall of your box, now go smoke meth NOW!!!!!!!!!!

personally. at GDC07 when fill showed the tech demo of the PS Edge Tools and a small snippet of what the tools can do it presented Killzone. which was just a demonstration of the tool and not what the Game looked like... alot of people said that the demontration was something atkin toMGS4 but alittle better. though not quite matching the e305 trailer it looked amazing... now at the end of the trailer it said Massive presence at this years e3... E307, with Phil saying you can expect killzone to be on of our main Focus, in adition to home and some new things we'll reveal... so if a game like killzone is gonna have a massive showing i just dont see how a Trailer alone will satisfy people... they even said that a beta is in the works so really. just wait till July people... E3 will tell all. and with all that sony showd at there Gamer Day. gaurantee it will be impressive. first it was GDC07 then PS3 launch in Europe, Now Gamers day, next is E307... You cant Stop them once they start... either hop on the train or get the Fuk ran out of you... lets go sony give me even more reasons to be happier than i already am about my ps3... E307=Sony Blowout.
