Socom Confrontation Server update (1.51)

Developers Slant Six Games, are fixing some server side issues. Possibly preparing the servers for the deployment of patch 1.60 which was promised back in the summer.

Uncharted & Mag is how gaming is done. Dealing with socoms crippled architecture is done.

How about a patch to get rid of the hacker that I and another player unloaded 3 clips into last night at point blank range and nothing happened?

To me the handling of Socom Confrontation was one of Sonys biggest mistakes, i'm not familiar with Slant 6 and their previous work. But i feel Sony should of taken better care of their flagship online shooter.

I bought the game on first day bundled, and when i play Uncharted 2 online i cant feel and think this is what a next gen Socom should of been. Especially when you play the mercenary faction

Imagine Socom with uncharted ammount of polish, to its animation, graphics, cover systemk, and lag free gameplay and stable framerate but improving on uncharted 2 lack of vast weapon customisation.

I used to love socom.. i have it, bought confrontation day one, reserved it.. defended teh beta even..

and there are plenty of updates that have helped the game along..

But i just cant find it in me to load the game back up

like Stationfan, sony mishandled this one extremely poorly.. they should have begged zipper.. found a better developer, put it on the shelf, remade socom 2 in the mean time.....

but a title with such a huge fan base should never been given to a psp developer

hell naughty dog did a better job at creating a shooter than slant 6

I was cleaning up my ps3 data files and couldnt believe this game was over 2gb in patches alone
