i decided to get it along with uncharted 1.. i havent seen much footage of either game so when i play them i expect to be blown away :)

Uncharted 2 has a great release date.....safely away from MW2. I wouldn't be surprised to see it as the highest selling game (among PS3 and 360 games) of the month of October.

Why not get both? It seems like you are interested in both games so would it really matter which one you got first? I will get U2 if there is a copy available at retails near me. Kmart here I come lol usually Kmart always has a copy of newly released games. At least the one where I live.

I cancelled my MW2 preorder and shifted it to Uncharted 2 (Quote me if you want also); I'll support dev's who make games and not just for the money.

First Uncharted was legendary, cant wait to see how 2 is, and the best thing I like.....the whole 2-3 online trophies are co-op related not "get 40 kills in one match..." bs

However, i will be really suprised, if the game will sell over 500k during October in NA alone. Not many PS3 exclusives were able to do that..
If Uncharted 2 will able to achieve that, then the tide have changed. And PS3 is the KING again. :)
Yet, i`m pretty much sure, Uncharted 2 will easy sell over 1 mln. during october WW. =)

Uncharted 2 will sell well worldwide, no doubt, but it will be difficult to crack more than half a million in a month for NA alone.

Just trying to keep expectation low here, as awesome as the game is going to be, US is still dominated by the 360 atm...i could be wrong though :D

I have had lag once while downloading 2 long videos and having my broadband capped because I've been downloading too much.

By the end my download speed was 25kb/s

But it was still FULLY workable and that's the only hitch I've had.

It's soo fun too but everyone on CO-OP is stupid.

I don't know if you where putting down Uncharted or COD 4, but COD 4 is P2P and the number of players makes no differenc to it's quality.

I THINK Uncharted 2 uses P2P not sure because little lag

I'm always amazed by how GG managed to keep the KZ2 online lagless even though it is supporting 32 player without dedicated servers.

The Warhawk and R2 servers are even more amazing, those games run with virtually zero lag!

With the added 500,000 + new members to the PS3 community...I expect that a lot of the older games will see a renewed vitality in sales. Plus, the platinum lineup will be strong during the X-mas rush...when people drop that $299 and want to added something good in the stocking. I see MGS4 has made a little comeback...now people should go back and discover the OTHER treasures of the PS3 backlog that remain hidden to the mainstream.

I bought Uncharted on day one and Ill be doing the same for Uncharted 2. Its my personal GOTY eventhough I havent played it yet. I did play the beta back in June and it surprised me at just how good it is.

Does anyone know what ODST is? The average person is probably gonna see it at their store and see that it says Halo 3. Then they'll be like "Huh? Oh, this must be the Game of the Year edition or something".

Look at it's rank. It's been on the top 100 for just over 100 days and is dropping already. MGS4 (an "interactive movie" that's over a year and a half old) is at number 4, has been on the top 100 for almost 500 days and is RISING.

I guess people rather play a year-old "interactive movie" than Halo 3 with a new Master Chief single-player skin.
