7 Reasons Why Final Fantasy VII Needs a Remake

Back in 1997, Square Enix delivered a game to the PlayStation system called Final Fantasy VII, which has resulted in an incredible, overwhelmingly positive – and nearly flawless – reaction for the RPG genre.

In 2005, a technical demo was released, to demonstrate the power of the then infant console, PlayStation 3. The demonstration was none other than a complete overhaul of the introduction for Final Fantasy VII, and how it would apparently look given an opportunity for a remake.

Four years later, fans still froth at its sight, people are still marveled and comment on the technical demo. The demand for a remake is unimaginable, and Sony should believe in the same thing. This article will give you the 7 most important reasons why our 12-year-old beloved PlayStation title deserves a remake.

I dont want them to make a remake of Final Fantasy VII.

you know why?

S-E are crazy in their heads.

Where in the world will they have time to make a decent Final Fantasy VII when they're working on Final Fantasy XIV , FianlFantasy XIII , FinalFantasy XIII verus,FinalFantasy XIII agito , NieR , Front mission...

they promess to much stuff at the same time and dont deliver.

Nier and Front mission are only published by S-E and are developed by Western devs.

FF14 is developed by the FFXI team which are MMO only.

FFXIII team is made up of the standard numbered FF series team.
FFversus team is made up of the KH and other members of the older FF team.

FFXII team we have no clue what their up to.

So yes after XIII they could technically start planning an FFVII remake project and then the closer Versus is to completion they can shift members from that over to VII remake.

I love FFVII. I've played the original numerous times, and have bought every game in the compialation of FFVII so far (other than Before Crisis which was Japan only) as well as the movie on both DVD and Blu Ray. A remake would top it all off nicely...but for now I'd much rather have a NEW game. FFXIII, Versus and XIV please...NEW stories.
