no but having both systems and buying games off both services I must say psn has more unique experiences and not just games that are similar. for example psn has super stardust hd, fat princes,pixel junk eden, junk monsters, ratchet dlc, shatter, cuboid, wipeout hd, elefunk,flower, and crash commando,

although i did enjoy braid, castle crashers, banjo kazooie and splosion man on xbl

good question...and what is the author comparing those titles too? SURELY not every Xbox LIVE Arcade game...cuz that'd be one hellavu a joke....a counter article can, and probably will, be made for this but what point are they making with no comparisons and probably 0 knowledge of what each service offers.

He missed out Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars which is my fave PSN game. Fat Princess is boring as is Flower. WipEout is amazing as well though :)

Nice opinion piece but not news. The author should think before they submit such none sense.

I will say this, I have no problem saying that the PS3 wins with more arcade games or better arcade games...I really don't know as I have never downloaded anything other than Doom on the 360.

Now when it comes to actually games. Full releases, the 360 wins in that department. Hands down. I don't have to go into the whys and why nots as they have been said a million times by other members of N4G and gaming journalists.

like i said stunted the growth and as you can see there from their own mouths the limit is still there 'as a guideline'. I say this because im sure some games still dont make it out because of their size and how many large exclusive xbl games have actually been released since the ban was 'lifted'....... I wonder and Multi's like street fighter and watchmen dont count as like i said before ..'me too' and its also the reason i said 'stunt(ed)' as its moved from 50 mg to 250 whereas psn has no such 'guideline' and the reason why there are x times as many large games on psn from launch. Size isnt everything but thats not my point. Its just games like warhawk were not possible on xbl until 09 hence 'stunted'

my favorite XBLA games thus far are Splosion Man, BF 1943, Peggle, REZ HD, Braid.

Also as of 8/11 BF Bad Company is a digital download at 19.99, so in terms of gameplay and file size there are options on Xbox Live that make your argument null as of today. Both Bf bad company and warhawk share an 84 on metacritic and both cost around the same price, so i call it even.

in terms of "stunted", how were they stunted did the file size limit any games, I just dont see where the past file size limitations resulted in any game being stunted, what are your examples of stunted games? What games dont make it out as you say?

Im talking about the type of game. xbl NOW allows for bigger games BUT there was a time when this wasnt the case SO there are not as many games to the quality of BF1942/Warhark available as of today. The limits limited (pass tense) these games from being on xbl

Metascores......do you play those or do you play the games. Meta is tainted even if 09 has been sony's year according to them....I still say eff it especially since 80% of the sites that have input are from the western media and many of those are from the continent where one of the major players is based. 'Look after your own' if you need a hint. The site also shows zero transparencies in its weighing or credence giving to sites or their reasons for doing so. Your list is even flawed. Wheres fat princess or shatter....you've just chosen to pick and choose so it suits your argument which has been done better by others (ill say no names) yes.. you are fun but next time try listing 15 games then we can have a fairer comparative. xbl has games yes but not as much of the quality of psns. Its why this article has been written after all so call him ignorant init. Ill be waitin for ur 15 btw:)

I asked for 15 xbl games for a clearer picture of my point not just the 4 you conveniently selected. Its obvious you're acting like the type that makes noise then plays dumb and hides behind links. If i wanted a list of meta games i would of done it myself for example if i wanted to name 15 games off psn i'd look in my collection NOT meta. i gave you both lists so you could look and see what the scores of psn and xbla games are in order from highest to lowest, and you could compare what gaming journalists think of the quality of the games that appear on both services.

You want lists there are lists, make the simple mental leap and open both in 2 separate windows side by side and there you can compare the top 15 xbla and psn games. what you will find is that gaming journalists have rated xbla games higher than psn games (if you actually click on the game you will find links to the reviews themselves), but you think that metacritic is not a valid source and thats fine.

Also you never identified which games never came out on xbla because they were stunted by the file size limit.

I'm getting annoyed because you just want to argue and not look beyond you limited worldview and that fine. I've provided you with info ignore it to your hearts content.

Get your PSP softmodded with custom firmware and play all those PS1 games. Or if you own a Wii, softmod it and run emulators. Or on PC. Whatever.
