Batman: Arkham Asylum - Gotham Alley stage images

Ian Fisher writes: After the recent demo I'm sure the anticipation for "Batman: Arkham Asylum" is at a fever pitch. The game looks exceptional and it seems like the Dark Knight finally has a game that captures the essence of the character and the world he inhabits.

But one thing about the game that has left some folks sad is that Batman actually doesn't traverse around Gotham City. We see Gotham briefly in the opening cutscene for the game but that's all we see of the Dark Knight's stomping grounds. Well while we won't be able to fight crime and traverse the streets of Gotham we do have the opportunity to bust a few skulls in the Crime Alley DLC Challenge Room.

I didn't plan for it, but I preordered the PS3 collector's edition from Gamestop a month ago. I have just two weeks...can't wait.
