7 - My fellow 2K sportees

remember you should view this as a step in the right direction. Once the license deal is done with EA, they will be ready do will and deal with real football and players again. I heard that deal can be broken at anytime.

Anyhow I haven't played a football games since 2K5, and I've been playing the series since Dreamcast. Never liked Madden and probably never will. The developers will be able to see where they stand with their fanbase and take it from there.

Me and my boys all hate Madden and still perfer to play 2k5 that piece of garbage called Madden.

Having the All-Time greats will be nice but it's not going to touch Madden until they get the license to the current players. Hopefully they make a good game because competition is needed in this genre.

Just a tiny FYI for ya... 2K ballers care about gameplay\presentation\look and feel. We can careless about the BS hype that you are speaking of.

I can go to sleep tonight with tears confine the sweet taste of joy. I can go to sleep knowing that a better football game than Madden is on it's way. I've purchased Madden 06'and 07' with shame in my heart knowing that the 2K series was and is better. Now, if they can show me that they still have it, I will give up current rosters for better gameplay and design. Any good gamer and football fan should and will do the same. People of the world, unite and rejoice in the name of 2K sports. Now I know God is real because many prayers were answered today.

Should I pay $60 to play a half a$$ football game called Madden with current rosters? Or should I pay $60 to play as one of the greatest QB's to every play the game(Joe Montana)? Tough decision........not. It will be awesome to recreate the 80's 49ers teams.

I am not a big fan of Madden football. Haven't been since the PS1. NFL 2k series IMO is the best football experience to date and I am glad that 2K Sports is back on the football path. I can't wait to re-create my team of the decade the 49ers with their greats from the 80's. See ya guys on the gridiron!
