I remember before KZ2 came out, a dev talking about how the Bolt gun would have been a bad idea for MP. So maybe they found a way to balance it out.

Question is, what classes can use the Bolt Gun, and Flamethrower?

Something else I would like is an ISA sniper rifle. Seems odd that they use only the HGH one. ISA versions of some of the HGH only weapons would be nice.

The Bolt gun and Flamethrower are only used in these two maps, they are place inside the map so any class can get a hold of them

You are correct.

They're still unblanced and pretty deadly, based on the videos, but that's the point. They're open to everyone on the maps, but whoever gets to them first is going to both be dominant and a target. They're intentionally unblanced.

The balance question becomes when you kill someone that has the weapon, does it fall and stay or eventually respawn. Where, how, and if it respawns when out of ammo also matter.

What an awesome game. I loved the boltgun in the campaign mode. Easily one of the more enjoyable guns in a video game.
