I just watched it on Spike HD. I have a 42" 1080p Samsung and it truly did look amazing but there really needs to be another solution for aliasing in PS3 games. The jaggies were terribly distracting. Even during the cinematic there were tons of jaggies. I'm glad Naugthy Dog is one of the few developers who do not use a ton of blur to compensate for aliasing but the PS3 does need another solution.

Mass Effect 2 or SC don't hold a candle to Uncharted 2. Mass Effect has bland textures up close and poor facial animations. SC has stiff animations, and bland graphics.

The first Uncharted to this day is only equaled or bested by one game: Killzone 2. Mass Effect and Splinter Cell Double Agent weren't even close in the graphics department. And while their sequels have certainly seen some improvements, Uncharted 2 looks to be an even bigger jump over its predecessor and is again going to stand head and shoulders above ME2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.

Uncharted 2 looks better than any upcoming game I have seen. But the graphics are just the icing on the cake. The wonderful narrative, pacing and gameplay are the main elements that make the game truly special. I also love the fact that the single player story mode isn't broken up by load screens, it is seemless from beginning to end. Uncharted 2's overall package of gameplay, narrative and graphical presentation is simply unrivaled.

To all the fangirls with their panties in a bunch over my comments, I did not watch the trailer on Gametrailers.com. I watched the trailer on GametrailersTV on Spike TV HD, channel 741 on Cablevision in New York City where I live on a 42" 1080p Samsung television and yes, there IS aliasing. There is no question that the game looks phenomenal but just like with the first, aliasing is a distraction. This has nothing to do with the game or the developers, it's most PS3 games. Textures look wonderful, but anti aliasing is almost nonexistent. This is incredibly noticeable in games like Fallout 3, as well as PS3 exclusive games like MGS4 and MLB09. Anti aliasing is almost nonexistent. Get you heads out your asses. It's a valid criticism but I forgot, anything but total adulation for a PS3 exclusive is sacrilege to the little emotard PS3 fancrowd.

U2 might actually give MGS4 a run for its money for best game this gen. I never thought this would be possible but if you guys haven't notice. U2 is set to have detail cutsceens like MGS4. Cutscenes that goes beyond what other games have in detailing and fleshing out the character and story unlike any other games out there.

The facial expressions alone and animation looks to best MGS4.

The great thing about U2 though is that alot more people can follow it unlike MGS as i think the plot in U2 will not be anywhere near as complex as MGS4. A good old fashion Action adventure blockbuster story that is a bit more character driven than the first Uncharted.

This game have always been my GOTY09
