don't dl the demo people, i got it for pc and even with the pro graphics on my pc (which are no where near motorstorm) the game sucks, i got bored in the first freaking race, that's how bad it is

it gets mixed reviews, not played it myself but from what i've read the game itself is kinda crap but the game world is fantastic, and massive, so there is some free roaming exploration fun to be had.

I think it depends on what you like in a game - the demo might be worth a try.
The game is GREAT and I am really enjoying it - the key seems to be NOT sticking to the track the whole time and try to take shortcuts. Lots of fun when it gets dark - in game. The world is overwelmingly massive!

I like the game as well the menu system does suck at first but when you get used to it is a lot of fun. do what you want, go where you want and slide around corners i enjoy turning off the road to cut across country is prob. my fav

I like how the PS3 has that one choice exclusive game in every genre you guys compare every game to.

It's honestly hilarious.

There could be 50 sandbox games released tomorrow and these boards would be filled up with "well infamous is just better cause it is".

I would say real rubbish is Lair or Haze, around a 5. This is around 6.6 to about a 7 depending on version/platform. Which is still allright if the game fits you.

Oh and OmarJA, Motorstorm is allright, I own the second one, but its just about on a 8 out of 10 average. That ain't the best game ever, but its fun.

The only reason you 360 fans dog on HAZE is because it went PS3 exclusive. Before then you all would put it on those "hot 360 upcoming games" lists you use to beat your chests about 360 games.

Perfect example is Section 8. Now that game looks WORSE than HAZE and similar to a game like Fracture with it trying to copy many FPSs of the past like Tribes and halo but it comes with some weak arsed graphics.

You think the 360 fans are dogging that? ofcourse not, cause, for now, it's a 360 exclusive. I even saw some dude mention it as one of 360 games with dedicated servers and I just shook my head. Already hyping a seemingly below average FPS, yeah but KZ2 "iz teh meh"

Please, it's now clear to me that the vast majority of the 360 fanbase dont' really give a damn about the gaming industry. They just want their console to win regardless of if it's a hunk of tech junk with bland games that have not pushed ANY technical boundaries for gamers and are just mediocrity hyped to hell.

Actually, Lair is an awesome game; if you have the IQ to use a motion-controlled game, that is. Download the demo from the Japan store and google my name and Lair tutorial... I'm not the best, and not to brag, but I do have all gold medals.

Good that you like it. Overall one can say though that Metacritic/review scores give the best direction for the mass of people and not a single person giving his subjective opinion.
