New Tales of Vesperia PS3 Trailer Reveals More Additions

A new trailer for the PlayStation 3 port of Tales of Vesperia, which originally appeared on the Xbox 360 almost a year ago, has popped up on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Tales Union also has downloads for those who don't want to go through the hassle of creating a Japanese PlayStation Store account.

The PlayStation 3 port of Tales of Vesperia includes numerous extras and changes, such as a brand new character, Patty Fleur, the addition of new bosses like the Sword Dancer, Flynn being playable for more that just one battle, among other changes. The game will also be fully voiced and will include new and altered scenes, such as Yuri fighting Don Whitehorse when the party visits Keiv Moc.

@Family Guy: Yeah, parts of the Xbox 360 version weren't voiced. Not known if it was due to disc space or running out of time (aka Patty), but the PS3 version will have every scene voiced (doubt NPCs will be, though).

Well I am sure in Japan it will sell a lot more than the 360 version...but in the end I don't really care much about sales unless it affects the chance of a sequel.

A lot of the scenes (as well as the FMVs) need to be redone to include Patty, plus they are voicing every scene now, so there's a lot the English version would need to redo, and it might not make financial sense for Namdai to incur the costs it would take to do a North American localization of all the new stuff.
