Michael Perry writes: "Looking at the release list for this year, you can see a trend on trying to squeeze as much out of an IP as developers/publishers can get out of it. While we do get games that some gamers might not want a sequel to (the outcry of Bioshock fans comes to mind) there are many games we would like to see the story continue for but still haven't gotten. some of The staff collaborated and came up with their top three games they would like to see sequels made for."

3rd Chrono Game.

Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PS3.

Lunar 3.

Dark Cloud 3

Persona 5 on the PS3/Xbox360/Both.

Dead Space 2 (Yeah it's coming in 2010, but I can't wait)

Lair 2. (I haven't even played #1 due to poor reviews, but the idea on paper + the trailers had a great idea. With how far the PS3 has come a proper sequel could be stellar)

A new Socom by Zipper after MAG is over and done with.

Skies of Arcadia 2.

Valkyria Chronicles 2.

Demon's Souls 2.

Radiata Stories 2.

New Metal Gear Online game with dedicated servers.

Brave Fencer Musashi 3(Make it a direct sequel/prequel to #1)

New Mana game from SquareEnix.

Breath of Fire 6 from Capcom.

Megaman Legends 3

Suikoden 6(Rumor is it's under way from Konami)

Man seriously I could go on and on. This just what pops into my head right off the bat, and the fact that game devs haven't got the ball running on these projects is dumb.

And yes, a sequel to Fahrenheit would be great, if the game-play wasn't awful

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System and Jet Force Gemini top my list of sequels. Both had sequels planned, but Blizzard and Starcraft Ghost killed any chance of the former and the partial disintegration of Rare and its subsequent assimilation by Microsoft killed the latter.

I'd also engage in ritual human sacrifice if it would get me a proper sequel to God Hand.

10.1 - the core gameplay was good and should remain the same for the most part....
most of the complaints about the game was that it was hard.... and it was even in the early stages but it was entertaining and felt satisfying completing it... i would love a sequel

to name a few Suikoden 5 although I would rather the story to return to the time of 1 and 2.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Vandal Hearts 2, Vanguard Bandits, Brigandine, Breath of Fire, Bushido Blade 2, Beyond the Beyond, Lunar Eternal Blue, Lufia 2, Tactics Ogre, Warsong, Phantasy Star 4, Shining Force 3(SegaGen) and etc.

I don't see a need for perfect dark 2 since the new one on 360 didn't do so hot... but a new battletoads and a new Conker would be amazing... why haven't they gone and done that yet.

Powerstone. There is a big vacuum in the PS3 and 360 library for a deep 4 player fighting game. I don't understand why Capcom doesn't cash in on this.

yea I wanted monster hunter on the fricken ps3/360, not the bloody wii. and i was really looking forward to a new timespliters but i don't see that happening.

i would say grab a ps2 and try MH 1, but its no good now, online was the only way to get the good stuff, plus fighting the epic boss fighters there. you can try MH on the psp if you have one. i really enjoyed those. but not as much as MH 1, if they do release MH3/4 on the ps3 only ill pick a ps3 again. but if not. ill have to wait till FF13 Vs.

A new ICO, Shadow of Colossus, Sly Cooper would be great to see and I agree to the sequal to Xenosaga. But Wild Arms, Breath of Fire, Soukoiden, Vagrant Story, and a New Battletoads gameall deserve a sequal as well.

21 - My list
1. Heavenly Sword 2 (First was very good and underrated game)
2. Monster Hunter 3 on PS3 (Or MH3 unite, or whatever they will call it)
3. HAZE 2(okay don't kill me for it but the first one had a good concept, they need to work on the storyline more and deal more with the nectar. Controls were good.)
4. KOTOR 3 (A real conclusion to the storyline, not the mmo stuff)
5. River City Ransom 2 (First game was great, could only dream about the next gen possibilities of it.)
6. New Strider...
7. Marvel v Capcom 3 ( With everyone from every capcom fighting game i mean all the SF, Darkstalkers, Marvel characters... Insane)

Most of those games have had a sequel and who says they are not going to churn out more. We have enough Marios as it is, plus Monster Hunter keeps coming out as it is a established franchise that brings in money, no need to ask for more as there will be more, just this time on 360 and PS3. What I do want sequels to are:

Vagrant Story
Alone in the Dark

I would like to see more sequel of old RPG games but no more Final Fantasy games for PSP/DS for God's Sake !

-Dark Wizard(uber, strategy/rpg -Sega CD)
-Lunar3 (Lunar1&2- Sega Cd / Lunar1- PSone)
-a new Suikoden game
-PHANTASY STAR 5 (but please, Sega, no more stupid PSonline clones)
-a remake of uber strategy game Iron Storm( Sega Saturn)
-Shining Force (Sega Genesis) version for a PSP/DS
-Land Stalker (at least a port to DS/PSP/wii)
-Turbo Outrun (I want to see this acarde game in HD form)
