MAG Beta to be Invite-Only Experience

PlayStation LifeStyle: "Shijima, the European Franchise Manager for MAG, posted on the EU Official Forums, and he talked about the restrictions of a of a possible MAG beta.

Unfortunately, Shijima posted some disappointing news. If there is to be a MAG beta, it will only be open to the invitation-only Beta Trial members, consisting of members from Europe."

Yeah you would think that they would need to stress test the servers big time.

It would have to be a pretty large invite only beta though... 4 games of 256, would call for at the very least just over 1000 users. And what are the chances that even half of them are online all at once?

for once EU get something before US you always get the betas 1st and sometimes only, but it sucks aswell as im no beta member.

You would think open beta to stress the servers they aren't going to get 256 player games i think they'll do like 100vs100 or 50vs50 but no beta no buy for me, i wanted to see if it could cope (the servers) fully with max players but if its a beta members only then no buy sorry but i'll have to wait and see when it all begins

i just dont see why they are not doing open beta it makes more sense a massive game 256 players and a open beta would of guaranteed full lobbies and be able to stress the servers unless they are doing a closed beta (invite only) and then a open beta or one for US
