Home to be "essential for all PS3 games"

Home declared a "long term" prospect as Sony reveals download figures.

PlayStation Home stands to become "an essential component for all PS3 games", according to the service's director.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's Peter Edward predicted the online virtual world would become integral to future PS3 titles as the company continues to develop the service, Gamasutra reports.

"Home is the starting point for PlayStation 3 online, and that's something that gamers are going to expect as more games support Game Launch from within Home," he said. "This will become an essential component for all PS3 games."

Well... let's get this ball rolling then.

Are any games currently able to launch from within Home? I think Warhawk can (I don't have the game), but are there any others currently?

I haven't checked recently to see if R2 can launch within Home.

I know at least 3 games can launch from inside Home but I can't think of their names. Come to think of it I need to check and see if I Socom is launchable now that they have included the Home space. I just hope they have the MAG space available day one as the game will be sweet.
