Casting Call: Who Should Play Who in the Upcoming Uncharted Film

Adam writes: It looks like Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will be the next big game to get adapted into a movie joining Prince of Persia, Kane & Lynch, Halo, BioShock, Clock Tower, Gears of War, and a slew of Uwe Boll films that should just be forgotten. Because the current number of good video game-turned-movies is somewhere near zero, I'm going to stay hopeful about this one. Hope is important, it keeps the world turning. So let's keep the hope alive. And most importantly, let's hope Uwe Boll keeps his dirty, untalented hands far away from this movie. I've decided to compile a list of possible actors and actresses that I think would be excellent to play as the main cast in the Uncharted film (Nathan, Elena, and Victor).

I have to agree what I've seen alot of others already say: why not just have the voice actors play the characters on screen?

Really the only character I've thought about has been Drake. I've heard suggestions of some guy from Desperate Housewives or whatever it's called. Someone I saw mentioned Joe Flanigan (who had the look in the couple pics I saw that dude posted). I've thought of another suggestion that I think might work: Sean Patrick Flannery. I think he could pull it off and he has that look (not to mention he's already done young Indiana Jones).

Other than that, one other does come to mind. Sully should so OBVIOUSLY be played by J.K. Simmons.

I was originally watching Slither and then popped open my box set of Firefly the other night and I came to the same conclusion. This guy was born to play Drake in a movie and no one else. NO ONE!

It (like so many other games) could be made into a good movie.
But (like so many other games) it will probably get fvcked right up.

Hopefully they will get the right director (NOT Uwe Boll obviously), and the right cast, and realise that just cos the story has come from a video game that they don't have to make the film stupid or corny or add in any dumb@ss game-like sequences which always suck.

If they just take the premise of the game, get some good writers who arn't d!cks, and cast it right, then the film could well be worth watching..... I won't hold my breath though as suffocation doesn't sound too much like fun!

3 - Now you could either put a pretty boy on there just to look the part or someone that can play it...
I rather some one that can play the part...Well "Harrison Ford" is too old..

This will be just another action-adventure flick which really have not been that great since "Indiana Jones" and "Tomb Raider" movies.

Why not use the actual people that act out the role today for the game? Personally, I think Emma Rose would be perfect since she has the voice and similarities already to elena fisher... Just my two cents!
