Tekken 6 Update.

New tidbits from the latest issue of Arcadia Magazine indicate a massive overhaul for many of the older characters in Tekken 6. Among the main highlights of the article were:

* Animations have been changed for every character!
* All characters have an "item move", like the Bryan shotgun we saw at the AOU trailer. Although not all of them will have the same effectiveness.
* An example of an "item move" will be Anna throwing her high heels at her opponents.
* Harada officially stated that Leo IS a girl.
* So far Yoshimitsu has gone under the most drastic change. Harada notes that it will be much more difficult to use Yoshimitsu this time around and they consider him an "Expert" character.
* A lot of Lei Wulong's laying down stances have been changed. They look more like Lei Fei and Shun Di's laying down stance from Virtua Fighter 5.
* Many changes were done to Marshall Law. It is noted that fans of Bruce Lee and those that know of Jeet Kune Do will be very pleased.

i wonder what kind of item move will each characters will have. trying to master dragunov, it really is an awsome match up playing against my bro and his BRYAN since both characters are rather quick.

4 - Tekken 5:DR and Tekken 6

Alot of fun to play in HD. I'm very excited about this one! I can throw Anna's high heels!!! It'd be like my wife throwing her shoes at me but in the virtual world ;)

5 - I knew JIN would

be in here. So when is this coming to the 360? I love fighting games. I know Playstaion has some of my favorites. I just can't dish out $600+ bones for a console just yet. Tekken 2 TAG Tourny, is still the best one I think. I guess I'll have to play this at somebody's house. Damn NAMCO, when is the next-gen Soul Caliber coming out, anybody know?..

SC4 had been develop for PS3 since august last year... hopefully will be the end of this year, or early next year... I'm sure they will release for 360 too, just like SC3

5.2 - I loved Tekken Tag

Between TTT and Bond competitions on the PS2 I had many a late night getting to bed. If they have tag mode and practice on this game I will send Namco my cash Today!!! (not really but im just saying that would be awesome).

I doubt Tekken 6 will come to 360 (since it will be running on PS3 architecture in arcades).

So far only SC2 has been multi, but there still isn't any word on SC4. If it does go multi then it is only better cause more people can play.

As fas tekken goes, it won't be multi. Heck they even used the same type font of the PS3 on the number "6".

Tekken will never come to 360 so forget it. Playstation are not giving up their #1 fighting franchize and by the time it releases the user base will be fine. No need to port to a system where people think DOA is king. As for the new "item moves" it sounds sweet. I'm with u Jin. Tekken is the best game I've ever played.

10 - Hmm sounds interesting

The animation needs to be improved severely in my opinion. It needs to look as if there`s a point of impact and that you can see the hits actually, well hit it`s opponent in the face, stomach or groin. Individual animation and not the same death animation for every character should also be in there. Blood and to be able to see the damage you`ve caused to your opponent after a round or at the end of the fight would be cool (although i doubt blood would be in a Tekken).

well I never said it was coming to the 360.(kinda wishing it would is more like it).

Plus, as much as I played Tekken 2 tag, I love fighting games and Soul Caliber is the greatest fighting game ported to Consoles BRO.(dreamcast)

NAMCO funked up bringing part 3 to only PS2, and they know it, just look at the sales. I had part 2 for my Gamecube, and XBOX, since I was used to Heiachi, I didn't get it for the PS2. Link was a kewl character on the Gamecube.

Anyhow just wishful thinking..

13 - wow... i wasn't much of the 3D fighters

because of some terrible run in with the mortal combat and the Snk 3d games of recent but after i purchased VF5 i saw that games can be done right. so then i motioned for tekken 5: DR and man do i have fun. the both games are brilliant. and i have to say after the learning curve for playing them both i'm simply stoked for tekken 6. Lilly is definately my favourite character and i cant wait for some new features. that item move thing sound very cool and would be a new thing for the tekken series.... not only that but this will have to be the Tekken that takes this franchize online, with online world wide dedicated servers from both Namco and Sony... and then of course we can expect an expansion verion which would likely be downloadable through PSN as an update which will probabaly bring new stages outfits and new Characters. traditionally namco has always released 2-3 Tekken games on a console, not counting expansion games like tekken 5DR. so i can make that guess that we'll likely see a tekken 8 on ps3 and an 8.5 something atkin to DR on ps3 before they take the serious to tekken 9 on a ps4 lol!!!! damn that sounded weird a tekken 8 and 9.... by then i'm hoping that they just start a new tekken franchize and call it tekken: with a subtitle and have a part 2 and 3 and so one underneath that series... lol!!!

anywho. having fun with VF5 and Tekken 5 DR cant wait to try this game... i think we are definately gonna see this at E3 and TGS07 this year. as RR7 was and gundam wave were there 2 titles for the launch of the ps3

14 - Great news.

This is one of my favourate series, after Tekken 4 i was kindda disapointed in the series, Tekken 5 was good but i wanted them to add something a bit new to the series. The extended levels of character customization and modified fighting styles sound quite interesting. I hope they add online play aswel. The weapons thing am not sold on though as i find that if it's not a weapon based fighting game to start with the weapon use can come off feelin kindda cheap.

I can't wait for this game. This game has made me love the series since the first one. I still remember when I had my first PS and I was going to rent a video game because it was cheaper that way and I knew how the game played. Since then I got hooked and I own almost every tekken game (I only rented tekken 1 and I bought my PS2 later so did't get tekken tag).

I really hope this game comes with online play cause I know I will be kicking all your asses;)
