God of War III Demo on X-Play and G4TV.com Tonight

I don't know how this has seemed to pass under the radar (I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere), but X-Play will be showing off a live demo of God of War III tonight.

In an announcement posted yesterday on g4tv.com, it was revealed that game director Stig Asmussen will be showing off the game with over 20 minutes of gameplay footage on XPlay Thursday June 18th. Read inside for more details.

Oh well, I guess I now have to watch G4 to at least see if this is some new footage. I usually don't watch G4 unless it's E3 and that's just because no one else broadcasts E3.

Did anyone see their live demo of Prototype a while back? They made that look like a horrible game.

They must have given the controller to a monkey, because the player couldn't do anything right. They just ran into things and jumped in circles...

Lets hope they don't do that again with God of War...It totally killed any hype I had for Prototype.

just give us the same demo. We wouldn't ask for another one before the launch, seeing and playing the game yourself is more fun than watching some lucky person play and brag about how good it is and how much fun they are having while we just watch.

I hope it the demo will make me decide weather or not to get this game. I'm not a big fan of the GOW series actually the only one I played was on the PSP, oh yeah and 10min on the PS2. The new one looks good graphically but I'm just not sure yet.

Everyone has already seen the E3 demo, so I don't believe G4TV will announce a 20 minute walkthrough of something they already showed the world when they covered the E3......dummies!

Secondly, it's not going to be played by some random guy, it's the developer, so Kratos will have all special abilities, weapons, moves, and infinite health to show off the game and engine. This coverage seems like overkill for a game that's not getting released until March 2010
