I just put it on order now. I only got to play R2 and seeing how good a game it was, I'm hoping R1 will be just as enjoyable.

i bought this game played it for 1 hour never played it again that was months ago
its just been collecting dust like a couple of the games i own

i hear the 2nd one is WAY better but im afraid to take the risk since im already going broke Dx

15 is a good deal though so go for it

I honestly prefered the campaign of Resistance 1 compared to R2, also, R1 has co-op, so that's pretty good fun. Just in general, I think the first one was a lot tighter in gameplay.

R1 felt fresh and new. While R2 was more of a "me too" FPS.

I played R2 first and liked it. Then I played R1 and loved it.

SP just like R1; MP just like R2 & Co-op just like Uncharted's WOOOT!

Honestly, I'd really like for the setting in R3 be for some place other than the States. R1 was fantastic with the Yorkshire setting in England and I hope we get more stuff like that... as a matter of fact, they really should keep to the formula in SP R1 for all Resistance SP campaigns.

A setting in 1945 in France, Spain ... or Russia \0/! would be AWESOME for R3.

Nah, loved the health system in R1. They need to keep that mold and build on it instead of trying to be like every other shooter on the market. Same goes for their weapon selection too.

Anybody else like R1 weapons more than R2? I loved how you could keep all the weapons you come across & get even more by playing the campaign again. What ever happened to the weapons from R1 I don't know & vehicles just disappeared in R2. Bring back weapons from R1, vehicles, howlers(dog looking creatures and that insect boss that spits that sticky substance) & co-op Insomniac for R3. Oh one more thing what happened to that girl from R1? She wasn't even in R2.

Resistance: Fall of Man is a very underrated game. It feels alot like Halo:CE only better. In terms of the campaign it is the best FPS I've played this gen(other than bioshock if you count it as FPS).

Halo3/CoD4/KZ2 campaigns are nothing on this game... but everyone seems to be obsessed with multiplayer so they get a better score.

I agree. The weapons were bad*ass & there were a lot to choose from. Not to mention the grenades, whiplash anyone? There was just so much going on at times during the campaign that it really felt like the chimera were taking over haha.

For R3, I want them to incorporate what made R1 awesome and what made R2 awesome, without conflicting what made both games AWESOME in their own right. All while coming up with something completely new.

I, for one, would like to see a vast refinement of their game engine.
