Ratchet:TOD, GT5:Prologue on sale for 75% off at Target

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, two premier PS3 exclusives, are now on sale for 75% off at the popular North American retail chain, Target. The games' prices have been axed from $60 and $40 to $15 and $10, respectively. It's likely Target is putting these on sale to make way for the Greatest Hits editions, which are due to hit shelves any day now.

That sounds like some good gaming! I was going to say that would be a good bundle, but at those prices, hell with a bundle.

Quality gaming + Cheap price = I LOVE IT!!!

I don't have a Ps3 but I respect it, but if you do, you shouldn't miss out on these great games!

Bought GT5 Prologue the day it first came out, but I'll definantly pick up Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction at the cheaper price... I never got into the Ratchet franchise on the PS2 (preferred Jak and Daxter), but I've waited long enough and now is the time to make the jump... I'll eventually get the PS2 versions of Ratchet as well.

But, I think might wait until the Greatest Hits Edition of Tools of Destruction actually releases first, because I want to make sure the Greatest Hits Edition doesn't have any extra content.... like Trophies.... if not, I'm hunting down the Original version without that Red Stripe that's on the Greatest Hits Edition.

^yea no kidding. the moment i saw this i jumped right to the target site. and lo and behold, 59.99. what the hell? though it does now say that you can only buy the game in store. so are they only selling it in store and they just didn't adjust the price on the website since they're not selling them on there? i'm not driving all the way out to target only to find out that it's still regular price.

It's not a bad game but I thought it was too short. Achievements/trophies are pretty easy for the game though. I'd say it's a steal at 10 bucks IMO.

Hmm thanks for the heads up there guys. Just wanted to make sure this was legit. I think I might head down there today. I've never gotten into the Ratchet series, but i think it's about time (after all i hear about the games). Can't pass up the opportunity for only $15.

And really have Mirror's Edge for $10 too? Hmm might have to get that game as well. Is it really worth buying? I played the demo which seemed fun, but at the same time seemed like it could get really old really fast.

Thanks Robogorilla. I might have to pick it up then if my Target has that at 10 too. 10 bucks isn't anything and i guess practically any game where i at least enjoyed the demo would be a steal at that price.

I dont even like driving sims but for $10...why the hell not? I'll be going to Target tomorrow and getting me some GT5:P lol

Also $15 for ToD is a great deal, I paid $60 for it when it released lol.

I hope they discount Q4B on PSN cause I wanna pick that up but idk seems like a $5-$10 buy for me

Just picked up TOD. As of noon today the Target in Niskayuna NY had 3 copies of GTP, and 2 of TOD remaining. I will never understand why retail stores do this kind of liquidation. Original packaged games seem to be worth more to collectors than Greatest Hits packaging. . .

Called a bunch of Targets in the area, only 2 stores had Ratchet and most others said they havent seen em in awhile. They have been discontinued and are putting the greatest hits versions out any day! Will be picking up Ratchet today as that game is great and a steal for $15. GT5 can wait until the full game comes out. I dont want an unfinished game.
