Online would indeed be absolutely awesome, but how does Battle Challenge likely translate to an online competetive mode? Additional skirmishes sounds more likely to me.

Microsoft be warned I see the USOs and MWRs becoming Playstation fanboys again PS3s starting to equal or surpass in number to the number of Xbox 360s. PS2s has already been the most popular hardware and is still supported over here.

Easy, playlists with optional filters sorting which maps and game types you want to play and the ability to issue a challenge to a particular PSN account or friend. Swap the AI for a real player, all the mechanics are already there.

I've never watched any of the anime, however I do hear that if you like one then you'll definitely like the other. In essence, really i don't see how you can't like the game at all. The game is awesome, trust me you won't regret getting this game. Some things i do hear are that the art style in the game is better (it truly is beautiful). And i hear the anime takes a few liberties with the story, though not in a way to ruin it. The way i understand it is that the anime concentrates more on the characters and personalities whereas the game gives more focus on the story of tactics and the battles. Though that doesn't mean you don't get any personality from the game and the characters aren't developed (lord knows they did it well enough in the game to extract a few tears from me). But honestly, you will not regret buying and playing this game. I absolutely loved it, and i've never heard anyone who played it say otherwise.

I agree. I would love to play a sequel. All PS3 owners should play this game. Now is the best time to get Valkyria Chronicles cause its price drop few months ago and the next great RPG is a couple months away from release date.

I would absolutely love a sequel. I was late to get this game, but once i did i fell in love with the game. It's amazing. If they do a sequel I'd be there to buy it day one. No doubt about that. I second the sentiment that all ps3 owners should play this game. As for the DLC, I still haven't bought any of it. Though I do want to go back at some point and buy that DLC where you play Selvaria's side of the story. And this one here would indeed be interesting if it was online multiplayer. All the mechanics are there for it and this game would translate very very well into multiplayer.

Oh. well guess that ruins the thought of multiplayer. All the same, new missions can't be bad for this game. as long as it's not some single mission thing like that one in the last batch.

just noticed somebody said it's 10 missions, which, as long as it's not overpriced, is definitely worth a pickup at some point.
