but i failed becuz i already beat the game in all settings and got all weapons...

1.4 - Does anyone know...
Aren't there some games where, if you already completed the requirements, and you download the trophy patch, you automatically get all the trophies for them?

Thought there were supposed to be some games like this. I save my MGS4 save files on purpose for this very reason.

That only applies to online games where stats are read for trophies. You can't cheat with online stats, so they can give trophies retroactively that way.

Warhawk, Battlefield, etc were able to give trophies that way. Single player trophies have to be earned again.

I'm hoping they don't require trophies for MGO, or its going to be even harder to get that platinum (the Konami ID probably interferes anyway).

Cant believe its been a year since release. Doesnt time fly.

Have no idea why this game does not have trophies..

Maybe its something to do with the multiple installs?!? or could be just Konami being lazy.

Still, they only way im gonna go back and play this game again is if it has trophies.

and my best BBE time clocks at 2:34:02 but I'd still buy it again and play it through as many times as needed to obtain the platinum trophy!!!

I'm definantly not a Trophy Whore because I've always been playing games over and over again for my own personal satisfaction way before Trophies and Achievements even existed but I've been holding off on playing through MGS4 again just to wait and see if a Trophy Patch will come through.

A few months after I beat MGS4, I did a Speed Run about Half-way through the game, and it may sound crazy, but I WANT to watch all of those cutscenes again while playing MGS4 (I skipped them for the Speed Run) b/c I haven't seen them since I first beat the game last June.

If all the Trophy's were basically just linked from the Emblems, in addition to other random things like "CQC 30 Enemies", "Distract 20 Enemies with a Dirty Magazine" and a bunch of other stuff like that, it will definantly take a LOONG time.

So does this "announcement everyday this week" begin tomorrow? I thought there was supposed to be a "big" announcement today.

Konami!... Please make these announcements worthy. I don't want to get excited about new MGS4 stuff and have it be something lackluster.
