First of all no changes were made to the article SuperMario290. Just because a site isn't IGN doesn't mean they don't have connections or contacts with developers. Secondly it is a release "window" and we will have a date when a date is set.

I guess when IGN posts it then god has spoken or something lol. If we lied we would be forced to pull it down by Zipper and Sony and if we didn't we would get in a lot of trouble that would not be worth the effort it took to lie. Believe it or not this is the release "window" we were given.

A release date is a release date and there isn't one they are giving out as of now so it's a release window. It was corrected so what is the problem?

Sometimes I wonder why a site like this exists in the first place, you might as well just go to IGN, Gamespot or 1UP if people are gonna have that attitude

Official release day will be something along the line of July XX, 2009 or August XX, 2009. Summer does not equal an official release date.

Wow, why dont these retards stop giving out codes and just release the beta via playstaion store? Im so sick and tired of the ignorance coming from devs and publishers. I have like 10 friends who never played Uncharted and dont wanna go preorder a game to get the beta code. They are wasting our time and losing money in the process. Who the hell is running things @ Sony? I would love to have a few good words with those people and smack them upside the head. They need to hire people with common sense.

That's a good point every time I've been on the the Uncharted beta there's only been around a 1000 people online. That's only around 4 full rooms in MAG.

It's probably just limited to start out. They'll probably open it up more or even completely after a while. No need for them to start the game out with a facepalm because they can't handle what they thought they could. They should work up slowly.

The purpose of giving these codes away, the way they do, come from more than being douches or what not. Devs want to make sure only the hardcore get their hands on codes, or at least people who are interested in bettering the game.

You want to help us test out game? Great, but please give some feedback!
How many people actually give feedback to Naughty Dog for Uncharted II beta?

I don't want people to magically think they do and therefore say "ME!"

10 - People need to learn to read.
For all those that are saying, "Summer is not a release date." read the title again, it says, "OFFICIAL MAG Beta Release Window." The key word is window, as in a timeframe from one point in time to another point in time when a specific event will occur sometime in between those two points. So summer does qualify.

EDIT: As long as there is a way to distinguish between rolling and cover, I will be happy.

You will be one of the people that comes to mind, when I play the full product. I'm glad to know at least one person around here gives feedback to them, so that we all can hopefully enjoy a better, more refined gaming experience.

I can't wait to see Naughty Dog's "snow" and how it will interact with footsteps and objects.

17 - I'll play socom & mag!
& mgo!
I like to play war games.
So first I play mgo since it's stealth & spy vs merc gameplay.
Then play socom to eliminate terrorist at hard to reach locations so it feels like dropping a
Assault team into the thick of it.
Then I will play mag for the full army infantry experience.

I really get into my online games.
I'll play cod5 waw then afterwards play resistance because they have the same feel at about the same era & resistance 2 experience feels like a invasion all over again.

It's fun.
I'm running killzone 2 tonight.
It's good to play killzone 2 after a game like deadspace.
See? You gotta run themes.

It really sucks that SOCOM still isn't the game that it should have been. I have fun with it, but its missing so many features. I'm afraid I'll be too involved with MAG when it releases to go back to SOCOM.

I still have very high hopes for socom only because when warhawk was first released it wasnt the same game it is today.
Im still giving socom a chance. youre right it is fun to mess around but trying to take it too serious will frustrate the crap out of you.

MAG has a very good chance of being problematic when its released as well but im all for it. I have no problem supporting socom and zipper to acomplish the game I want to play even if it does take them alittle longer to finish it.

That reminds me, its time to go to the daily socom.com visit. & have slant six ruin my day again.
