So many PS classics.

Einhander. RE2. Omega Boost. Parasite Eve. Tekken 3....but, no...we get Jet Moto2, destruction derby, and 2Xtreme.

Good games, yes. But they don't stand the test of time.

Not every game is as BIG as FF7, but I think the fan base for PS1 is still pretty damn substantial...certainly enough to warrant a bigger psn library.

sorry, my mistake. I thought MGS was released together with Final Fantasy VII .

I still have my original PS1 MGS from 1998.

lol i still remeber arguing with my friends back then about which is the best PS game. Most of my friends are FF fanboys and i always tease that that Cloud is gay lol!. They cried like babies when Aerith died lmao!!. Great times back then.

I can't argue which series is better yet, just purchased FF VII. I purchased the Metal Gear Solid Collection to catch up on MG b4 MGS4. I'm amazed how well MGS holds up to this day.

I have similar expectations for FF VII. Its great that late comers to the franchise only have to shell out $10. Too good to pass up.

I bought the MGS essential collection myself & after having played MGS I was amazed at how well it stood even after all these years. A kick*ss game imo. FF7 is also great, some PS titles are still fun to play even after so many years. We need more Sony. Bring it on!

Same as you, MGS is amazing. Bought the collection to prepare for MGS4 and was blown away by how good MGS was. It had been awhile since I have been so sucked into a story to find myself up in the middle of the night playing the game.

I have tried playing FF7 recently, but unlike MGS the graphics of FF7 annoy me. I just can't seem to get over the dated graphics even though never once thought about that when playing MGS. Might try playing on my psp. I don't worry about those things so much when it is portable.

-Legend of Dragoon(and this game needs a sequel.I thought the dialogue in this was terrible but it was enjoyable enough to get a reworked sequel)

wrong while lod does somethings better than ff7 and combo system is fun. It really didn't get the attention other rpgs got around the same time period. LOD, Tod were underrated ps1 rpgs. BUt i think all ps1 jrpgs should come to psn.

Actually Final Fantasy VII can be played on the PS3, PSone, PSP, and PC. There is not even a need to emulate it on the PC because it was released on the PC. In this particular case deafphat I am afraid your statement does not hold water.

Got the flashing red lights last Wednesday night without warning while paused in R2. I shipped it off on Friday, and needless to say, am eagerly awaiting it's return, as it's compelled me to give my dusty Wii some attention, albeit reluctantly.
