PLEASE be a Trophy patch.
I'm not a trophy whore, but MGS4 is my fave game this gen so I'll love another excuse to replay the sp again.

That's the rumor. PS Blog talked about an announcement for MGS4 on June 12. I hope it's the trophy patch.

i hope its more than a trophy pack! to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of mgs4 im going to have to put killzone 2, infamous and the uncharted 2 beta aside and replay this bad boy from start to finish! mgs4 here i come...again!

This is the one game that every PS3 owner would shamelessly whore at to get a Platinum. I would be proud to earn one.

I'm planning to delete all my MGS4 save and install data and experience it all over again, right from scratch.

a trophy patch would make my day man, as well as many others im sure, i was already planning on playing mgs4 again tomorrow anyway for the 1 year anniversary, but playing it for trophies would be even better. this is actually the only game i wouldnt mind diong everything over for to get the trophies. what i meen is games like uncharted, they put the patch in and u had to re do everything instead of get the trophies automatically which was a little frustrating. in mgs4 i wouldnt mind.

If there is a trophy patch I will boot up MGS4 at the moment I know that the update is live and play until I get platinum. MGS4 has got to be one of the greatest games this generation IMO.

Guys guys GUYS! Logic, use it! How many times has each Metal Gear Solid been released? Twice. Konami is not going to pass up the chance to milk MGS4, and they will re-release a sub-something version. Sony's new policy is that any game released from now on will have trophies. Mandatory. So its inevitable. Now we just have to wait....and wait...

Imagine the amount of players replaying the game and new players joining in if arguably the best game (if not very close) on the PS3 got trophies.

2 - i have abandoned MGO because........
if you want to have a good KDR, the gameplay becomes boring. waiting behind a corner for an enemy is boring to me. i am at 1.54 but the tediousness of playing smart got to me and the run and gunner comes out after time passes. MGO is not the game to run and gun in.

Yea MGO is pretty slow but nonetheless the gameplay is solid and fun for those who love tactical games. But what I really hate is the whole Konami ID thing.

7 - not obsessed with trophies even though i like them...
but mgs4 literally would be the best game for trophies. there are just so many things you can do in that game anywhere from using items, to all the weapons, all your CQC moves, stealth/aggresive strategies, no alarm, no continues, no rations used, and so much more that i cant think. the game is really dynamic and open so it deserves a trophy patch more than anything else.

sadly, its probably going to just be a mgo update which takes forever to get up and working and it will only cater to all the gene/meme/scene expansions. really wished mgo couldve been better because its actually fun when using teamwork and tactics instead of just running and gunning.
