If Sega is too busy (or slow) to bring this gem to america (and europe) Sony should ask to publish the game here.

I have no doubt that Yakuza 3 is coming. With games like Valkyria Chronicles being brought to North America, it's easy to assume that they'll bring it over. Nagoshi Toshihiro-san, the game's producer has stated openly that he'd like to bring both games over as he knows there's an audience for them over here. These games take a long time to translate as did the first two on the PS2. Have faith, and ye shall receive. :)

1.2 - It'll come...
It will just take time. I can't see SEGA passing up on this one. It's just too good a game to pass up on.

1.3 - @Sayan Fury
Really interesting the Valkyria Chronicles reference.
SRPGs are way less popular in west than Beat'em'ups.
Yakuza 3, with the right control scheme (the one in the JP demo is OK to me, but I don't know is most westerners would be that confortable), would be a major hit.
Still SEGA is pretty slow at that...

1.4 - The game will eventually come...
In another 2 damn years! Yakuza 2 was released in Japan on Dec. 2006, and finally made it to US and EU by Sept. 2008.
Damn you Sega! Why the long wait?!?

It'll come but it won't be til next year. Look for them to try in the spring/early summer of 2010-with a bigger push than 1 and 2 failed with as well.
Kenzan, however, is less likely to appear in western form. I believe the guy who told me this as he's been very right in the past-esp with regard to Sega stuff(he knew well before most that they would publish The Conduit f'rinstance).

Make them release this over here. All I need is some subtitles, really! Also, maybe be super cool and release 3 and Kenzan together, you know, for making us wait.

6 - I remember dl yakuza 3 from my japanese account and..
Even though I couldnt read what they were saying but the gameplay was awesome and tons of fun. It felt like shenmue but the main character was a bad azz samurai. I been hoping for this game to get a release here in the US but doesnt seem like it will arrive until a year or 2. Hope im wrong and they can have an early 2010 release, this game is definately AAA material.

Samurai? That wasn't Yakuza 3,which plays in modern Tokyo btw, it was Yakuza Kenzan. This game was refered to as Yakuza 3 before the real one came out.

7 - Seriously japanese game developers
How freaking hard/expensive its to get english subtitles and translations to the games? I mean Its not like you have to hire a group of dubbers just few translators to translate the parts that matter (menu screens, game texts and of course subtitles.
Seriously I hate dubs as original audio is the best in 90% of games, movies and animation. So is it really that expensive after all development costs to hire 1 or 2 translators to translate the game.
Dubs are only for those who cant read.
I mean even if game doesn't get published outside Japan, the ppl outside japan can still import it with ease and enjoy it with its fullest. Look what happened with Demon's souls, plenty ppl ordered the asian copy because it was translated. Seriously Japanese developers need to get to 2000's

9 - Please Sega!
I don't want dubs. I didn't buy Yakuza 1 (I borrowed it and finished it) because I didn't like the fact that it was dubbed so everybody sounded American even though they were Japanese, in Japan living in Japanese culture. It just didn't feel right. Yakuza 2 was amazing! No dubs but with subtitles which really made me feel I was an ex Yakuza kicking ass all over Japan lol.
Bring both Kenzan and Yakuza 3 to the UK Sega with subs!

12 - Bring it over Sega...
They should definitely just sub the game if dubbing is proving to expensive/time consuming.
I loved the first Yakuza and would really like to play no 3 on my PS3....
