If you look at the quote, it says the the top of all three PS3 charts...not overall charts. The article "enhanced" the phrasing by leaving out the keyword "PS3". It is a Playstation site afterall...

I'm pretty curious as to how many copies they've sold. I assume it's doing pretty well. I haven't had a chance to play it yet as I don't know anyone with a PS3, but it looks like a lot of fun.

I don't see anything in my post that is "saying a load of crap". I was responding to shikwan's remarks about what list it's #1 on. As a matter of fact, I also stated that the game looked like a lot of fun and I assume that it's selling well. The only thing I attacked was the wording in the article, which clearly does leave out a keyword...doesn't it? What about that is saying a load of crap about MotoStorm or the PS3? Why do you attack me without actually reading my post? Why I ask YOU, why?

EDIT: Deepbrown - Sorry, I saw the "you guys" in your post and assumed you meant both of us. As for "punishment"...NO, I certainly did NOT give you negative feedback for that one. I don't do that often...just for the fanatics...and they probably only had one bubble to begin with. :)

Even though (as you pointed out, Hokie) it is based on PS3 charts, does this mean that it outsold R:FoM??? I really don't think so but I could be wrong.

But it doesn't matter though does it? Obviously little jackashes like deepbrown will 'punish' anyone he thinks is NOT a PS3 Fanboy...i.e. Xbox fanboys, Wii fanboys AND True Gamers. It's people like you who bring down 'neutral' game sites like this one. Thanks alot ash whole.

You do know what sales charts are don't you? They say how a game has sold in a week...not overall sales!!! If it did it would mean that Mario Brothers on N64 was on top of the sales chart. Or that Titanic was at the top of the movie chart now...

F1 is a PS exclusive. It's a RACING game. It's about as appropirate to compare the game to dirt as it is to F1. Motorstorm is totaly different from ANY racing game I've played.

9 - Game is not that good.....

I'm sorry but I had to say it. I played this game yesterday at the Sony Store while on break and can honestly say, with no fanboy bias, that I really was not that impressed. For all the hype you guys have put on it, I thought it would be great. But no. It's a rental at best. But then again, considering the slim pickings the PS3 has, I guess that's why it sells.

But, I'm not a big racing fan and that's just my opinion so don't kill me to much!

i dont know if you played the fullversion but i know that the fullversion kicksass. the graphics in the demo are by far not so good like in the fullversion. in the fullversion the graphics are fantastic especially in some tracks. the best graphics i have seen so far, and i have seen a lot.

I'm all for racing games, all types, the realistic GT, to the fun, remember when need for speed was all about outrunning cops, what happened to that, and I am going to try and burnout when it comes out.
But heres the thing about motorstorm, everyone gives it crap about only 8 tracks, but these tracks are monstrous. There are different routes for each type of vehicle, throw in weather conditions ( rain makes the entire bottom floor muddy and its gets pretty crazy). Now throw in the fact that you can be like 7 different types of vehicles. I can be a Semi for gods sake, and just run through everything without blinking an eye, or I can be a motorcycle or ATV and dodge traffic, fun thing about using a bike, get into a good accident, and do a face plant into a wall, slow motion with rag doll physics is the funniest thing. Half the fun is having some crazy 4 car exploding crash, pausing, and rotating the camera to see the carnage, the physics are crazy. Thats not even mentioning how fun online is. This is a good game.

this game is great on many levels. I really like the different routes you can take. Like being a semi, and merrily going along the valley floor, without anyone nearby, then all of a sudden , buggys and bikes fly out of nowhere over your head, the places where teh different tracks converge is the funnest, total carnage sometimes. The AI is pretty good in the game, but yeah, nothing compares to racing against other people, they can be total pricks sometimes. haha

It's a game that can Pi$$ you off then right after make you go Whoa.. that wreck was awesome..

I don't know, I can't really stay angry at the game. Everytime I do, there's something that makes me go wow.. "Owwww.. hehe that had to hurt!" after a bike gets mauled by a rig..

The game is great.. lol.

Lol.. I have 72% win percentage online.. Raced about 130 races I think.. I enjoy the game quite a bit..

haha yeah i've quit angrily multiple times, but thats whats so great about it, Ive never really had a racing game that I was that into, or where things could change that quickly. I'm tellin you, you havent properly played a racing game until you run over a bike, and have the biker get stuck in your grill, with legs dangling over the hood, as you try and mow down other bikers. So fun. You know how in GTA sometimes you just wanna mess around and see how many people you can kill and how long you can have the cops chase you. Well sometimes I play this game, just to see how many crazy wrecks I can cause. This game would be awesome if you could take a snapshot of the screen, kinda like how they did that with LBP on the skateboard, that would be really cool in this game.

12.4 - Oh, hell yes!

I remember getting flinged like 40ft. in the air while riding a bike, it would be crazy if I could just pause and snap that. I've never seen a biker get stuck on the grill, that's some funny sh*t right there. Another fun part of this game is getting revenge, it's such a sweet satisfaction, especially with a headset talking trash.
