E3 True or Not Part 3 (Sony E3 Press Conference analysis 05-08)

The PS2 along with the PS1 was in incredible success and with that came Sony's predecessor the PS3. It is arguably the most power console to date but is the most power always better? LVLONE takes you back at where the PS3 began and let you make your own judgement if that have what it takes to be the best.

"When it comes to Sony they have a huge history of of trying to blow the competition out the water with their consoles. Now with the very successful PS2 thats sold millions of units needed a following … its Next Gen brother to say the least. 2005 seem to be that year however with a lot of promise under the hood it seemed to be all but perfect."

1 - Alot of kewl videos
a FF7 remake would be nice.
but imo there are alot more FF games that deserve a next-gen remake more than FF7.

Great article

1.1 - Yes but none of those were as influential to US gamers as FF7.

1.2 - Hmm I'm gonna have to...
Check out this famous Ff7 game you guys keep talking about. I played teh first one and it was alright. FF13 and versus13 are gonna be the second and third final fantasy games I've ever played.

But everyone keeps talking up FF7 like its the king of jrpg's back in its day. I tried watching Advent Children...and it only confused me. Maybe if it gets released on US psn I'll check it out. Just to see what the fuss is about.

I actually found FF8, FF6 n (i think) FF3-- played them long time ago
to be more fun n engaging. But FF7 is still a gem.
I think FF6 takes the crown in my book.. (SNES days ^^)

come to think of it FF3 n 6 might be the same lol

1.4 - Give me a FF3 remake and it's over
whatever system it's on I'm buying day one. I bought FF3 off the strength of a friend and it just felt wrong...for the first like 2 hours. After that I was hooked. Maybe I'm getting nostalgic but I swear they don't tell stories now like they did back then.

2 - Ps2 was a lifestyle back then.
Do you know how gansta it was to have ps2 in your car & tv screens on the backs of seats?
So gansta.

Yet it did take like 6 years for the media to stop hating on it. It's not Sony's fault others systems just gave up the biz.
Sony welcomed competition because it brings more jobs & more customers & more people to impress.
The media knows competition gives them more work too... Just look at them today. They are like scavengers.

Oh & how is the ps3's power arguable? I thought that debate was dead & stinking?
