IGN: Killzone to Release in Europe July 13th?

IGN now lists Killzone to release July 13th. When this was updated is unclear, and also remains TBA on the US release dates.

GaMr nah you didn't. As everyone said...that was just a listing by Amazon.com and that was for the US. This is a listing by IGN...I expect their channels to be more reliable than Amazon.

8 - well...

IGN updates its release dates every tuesday, so check back then to see if things get mixed up a bit. I have never looked at UK release dates so I couldn't confirm these dates as new or even shuffled around. But it will be interesting to see. I could see Lair in April maybe not the 9th but in April. All these dates are plausible; however I dont see Killzone on July 13th. The only reason is that we have heard NOTHING about it. This may be a good sign, however, sony has done crazier things than a suprise release...

10 - They need to give you PS3 fans something new screenshot or something, You guys are crazier than Halo fans for something new.

If there is any developer worse than Bungie on throwing there fans a bone its Guerrilla man They show you guys nothing but one CGI trailer. This is not a dig or burn its just an observation “notice” I mentioned Bungie to so don’t freaking flame me.

I thought bungie was pretty good...weekly updates and all. For all we know Gurilla could have broken up and migrated accross the world and Killzone could be being made by Wood Nympth in the Rockys

So why are you Sony fans all buying this while the only thing we've seen is a CGI trailer @ E3 2005 and you don't believe the news that MGS4 is coming to the 360 after a timed exclusive for the PS3?

13.1 - I think it goes back to the days when Sony claimed the first to be a Halo killer and it failed

and some still hold on to that idea. But... Halo is just to large of a phenomenon right now and Great trilogy’s allways come in 3s so there going to have to wait until after Halo 3 to try and take its spot. I guarantee even as much hype Sony is putting into this game they won’t release it anywhere near the same time as Halo 3.

Bet I end up with 2 bubbles after this comment. I see they got yours down to 1, not to far off myself.

SmokeyMcBearc I just get the feeling there going to change Halo up after 3 it seems fitting to try something else for a new chapter. Multi player will still remain the same or get better but single I think will change. I can’t predict the future obviously but I would prefer it that way, to much of the same thing gets old.

yeah, i don't think there is going to be any type of game to be a halo "killer", they game is too powerful with too many people who love it. There will only be games to satisfy the people who don't have a 360, and say eh.. ok well they have halo and I have this game, but yeah, halo aint going anywhere. Its pretty funny how you say "great" trilogys come in 3's... well is that the definition of a trilogy, theres 3 of them, for the sake of the 360, I hope its not a trilogy, because if halo is gone, what else is going to be there in 2 years, and don't give me this gears 2 and 3, halo is a much better game than gears, 1st person shooter and 3rd person, totally different animals.

i may have not have seen killzone 2 but i dam sure know that it is possible on the ps3 and when it surpasses the trailer and it will it still will only be the tip of the iceburg for the ps3 180 fans
