The differences between ports are so marginal its just silly to do this now. I am a gamer and if the game is not unplayable I don't care cause the differences are negligible. @ first poster your right this game looks more polished to say the least than Godfather 2 to be honest it looks awesome. Also an aside since the Infamous demo came out i wanted to compare GTA4 to it and I found that the game is pretty impressive too. Just wanted to let people know that infamous may be the new favorite game because it is damn fun as hell and the story looks like it will put the game over the top for me. GTA4 did somethings well and there is room for all open world games even Saints 2 which I have as well and enjoy all for different reasons and will enjoy this too once I get a read on it.

A lot of games have already been proven to be better on the PS3. Don't mention the PC either. These comparisons usually have to do with the PS3 and 360.

Edit: lol @ disagrees. I know there aren't a ton of games that are superior on the PS3 so I'll admit I exaggerated by saying "alot". There are already a few titles proven to be better on the PS3 so get used to it 360 fan boys, cause I can see devs using the PS3 as the lead development platform in the future.

I won't be buying this game, so I could care less! Actually, I could care less which version of any multiplatform game looks better; Generally they all suck! Might give Fallout 3 GOTY edition a runthrough! Heard good things!

i assume hes refering to the fact that when the ps3 is pushed or used properly the end result is much better on the ps3 than the 360, proof you say? ok killzone 2, uncharted, and my word have you seen uncharted 2?, gtp, mgs4 just off the top of my head... so if multiplat developers used the ps3 in the same way you would see a difference there too... however you know aswell as i do they wont do that normally because what? laziness? lack of knowledge? companies not allowing it?... the proof of many of these reasons can be seen if you look back at some of the early multiplats. where the ps3 had some shockin ports... things have improved greatly... ahhh but im sure you disagree!

i didnt even think there was any 360 fans left that will argue graphical superiority guess i was wrong lol... look killzone 2 is the console graphics king sorry its just well documented!... its also well known that gtp looks better than any other driving sim, uncharted or mgs4 is the best looking 3rd person action game.. these are facts im sorry they just are... but look its not the end of the world and all you have to do is get a ps3 to enjoy these awesome games... what is stopping you? pride maybe? well f##k pride! join in and reap the benefits... look am i saying the games you mentioned look sh1t? nope but they dont look as good as the ps3 counterparts... most 360 fans i know admit this now but talk about sales instead... and come on uncharted 2 has blown everyones mind i think it just keeps getting better in the sony camp... you dont have to be so stubburn... if the 360 didnt have shoddy hardware id get one trust me but the fact is they do.

well atleast you only argued 1 of the genres... and although res5 does look good the animations arent that great... even last gen some would say, and yes i count the animations as it is something you look at, i mean you dont play the games on pause do you, but besides the animations i still think uncharted pips it, and mgs4 beats it too, i say the same to you, you can just get a ps3 it wont be the end of the world will it? you dont even have to tell anyone... and even if you think res5 is better uncharted 2 smashes it badly! you have seen that running right? and its only in a vid! cant wait to see it run for real on my ps3 man oh man that is day one without a doubt.

isnt lost planet 2 a multiplat? and didnt the first have lacluster reviews? but yeah graphically it looks great, nowhere near uncharted 2 for me tho sorry, and come on! your asking what the ps3 can handle graphically when killzone 2 had some of the best lighting and explosions, particle effects ever seen on a console? please atleast be resonable... and i just dont see any multiplat game ever beating a first party game, well they havent so far... if anything i would question what the 360 can do as we havent seen it yet have we?

If that wasn't the PC version, I would say you almost had a point. The only thing that really looks good is the grass, there is nothing else going on. Yes, I know, in multiplatform land shiny = good graphics. But the four player co-op looks great.

What you guys don't seem to understand is that if that was a PS3 exclusive, it would look like that, with 100 guys, in a warzone and explosions everywhere, with everyone of those hundred guys acting on their own A.I routines, fighting each other and not just you. It's not just the graphics that make the PS3 better, it is the massive enveloping environments with the amazing amount of physics, characters and particles acting independently, as if, if you weren't their, it would still be a warzone!

Metal Gear, Killzone 2, Heavenly sword, Lair(in 1080p native and 60fps no less), I could go on. How is that deluded? Name a game on the 360 that does that? I don't have to wait for your response, you have nothing! Only person who is deluded here is you! Unless you're saying that those games don't exist, and they are only in my mind!

Graphics is not the difference, the hardware is relatively the same power; But the spu's and the super fast XDR ram, makes placing many moving, interacting and thinking objects on the screen at once, possible. It is just a new way of processing, and the future of processing, I might add.

Edit:Wow, reaching all the way back to 2005! Wonder why they haven't done anything like that since? Bet those games are lacking in graphics, unlike the games I mentioned, which are the pinnacle of graphics. Guess it didn't matter back then, since there was no competition!

I don't actually care which system is better! I can only afford the time to play one; I was just trying to get across that a game with four dudes, some nice grass, one boss and some blurry mountains in the background, is not graphically impressive! Or at least, not compared to what I have played recently, which has on par or better graphics, with much more going on.
