Ultimately, even if it isn't legitimate, this video does point the way forward for action-platformers in general. As such, IGN thought it might be prudent to spell it out a little bit; they take a closer look at a few of the key technologies and concepts that make them want this video to eventually be a reality.

I think its real and overall revolutionary and we just can't believe its real because we're told what to think is possible and we're told this console can't do that and that console can't do this.

Uncharted 2 competition? haha. then again, when was the last good ubisoft game?

edit: I didn't see a hud or confirmation that it was in-game. Anyways, Uncharted could use some competition. The action/ adventure genre is lonely.

If this is some sort of new engine thats able to produce sophisticated gameplay on this level this is not competition with Uncharted 2 :)

Its possible to get that sort of fluidity as the devs would know where to run and jump etc. However the way she pushes off the wall and other things, imo i couldnt see that translating into gameplay due to the fact that it wouldnt make it easier for the player, most likely more of an inconvenience.
