But i was disappointed about the crazy amount of missing features.

But the gameplay is fun as hell. Just coz it didn't come with all the features, doesn't define the game's worth.

FYI, if the game is not ur cup of tea, den move on. Not everyone likes every game. Alot of folks on my friends list are still addicted to this game despite owning K2, R2, COD4, COD5.

Who in their right mind releases a game without the features that are on the back of the game box and mentioned in the instructional manual?

Game came out last October. 6 Months ago those features were released on the back of the product.

You also realize that the majority of Slant 6 development is now for a PSP game. Who knows when we will get DLC at this rate, let alone the ability to run while having night vision enabled? Lag free servers? Black Fog fixed? Famas Fixed? Quick Select corrected? Sound issues patched?

I agree, but no offense you are your buds paid for a shotty product.You might want to try out either Rainbow Six las Vegas 2 or GRAW 2 as healthy alternatives. Don't be a slave to a broken product.

I also paid for it, but in essence I got a 10$ game to go with my 50$ blue-tooth headset. People whom paid for just the game alone should consult a lawyer immediately. Perhaps then Sony will pass the franchise to another developer.

TBH my friends were more interested in that blutooth headset and picked up the game with it, yet they ended up getting addicted.

I totally agree the lack of responsibility on Slant Six's part to keep their promise of delivering a completed game.
If Zipper wasn't working on MAG, I woulda pushed Zipper again 2 get this game developed.

But they are doing the best they can, (IF there will be another) the next SOCOM from Slant six hopefully wont be as bad. Considering they are relatively new to PSN, they'll have everyhting up and running by then *crosses fingers*

And No, being New to a console/PSN is not a excuse for them being lazy.

Oh i own both RSVs and GRAW, but SOCOM takes the prize (IMO) gameplay wise.
but RSV n GRAW (being sooo much older than SOCOM) stand thier ground pretty well.

I am a die hard socom fan, but in no way will I support any other game from these crappy developers. I don't know why Socom series got the short end of the stick and Killzone got the holy grail.

Heres to hoping Guerrilla makes the next Socom.

I hope not.
Even though i think K2 is a great game, it wasn't such a great online experience for me. Plus, I think GG should stay with FPS games.. TPS might cause some more issues.

Either way, SOCOM is in trouble.

Do we have the same game? Unless you got the new euro version.

In the top right corner it states:
*leaderboards ( didn't work for months)
*lobbies/matchmaking (lobbies yes, match making got patched in)
*Invite in game (still doesn't work, can't follow players)
*Playstation Home (You can't game launch from Home)
*Trophies (patched in months later)

Wait lets go over the instructional manual and what features are missing from the game still:

Calender: page 7,19 still not in game.

Community:Pg 7,19 feature is somewhat coming in next patch

blood as camo: Can't add to face as mentioned on pg 13.

Quick Match: Got patched in 4 months later, pg 14

Tournament/clann ladder: Page 18,21 coming soon months later.

Community portal: In game web browser, never implemented pg 19.

Awards: Page 20, didn't get into the games until 4 months later.

Thats 8 missing features that were written in the instruction manual that was shipped with the game October 2008.
