Gamezine: SOCOM Confrontation Review

Gamezine: If a competent story mode was added to the bundle this would be seen as an enjoyable game with a half-decent online option. But as a standalone product it just doesn't offer enough to put it above the rest. While this is reflected in the lower price tag, you'd be better off putting the cash towards Call of Duty 4 or Killzone 2.

I own both Socom, Killzone and COD... I now only play Socom.

I guess I prefer the tactical shooter better. Hours of fun.

4 - i love killzone 2 and played a lot of cod4
but for some reson i have to keep playing socom i guess having a great clan is a must in a online game and socom make it easy!!!, btw i keep playing kz2 but socom is amazing!!!

I'm curious what shooter you prefer? You have a point about camping but Socom and Killzone is still a better overall game than Halo, Gears and COD.

And if anyone thinks Halo , Gears or COD 4 is a better game than Killzone or Socom Please let me know. I already have an Idea of why most people prefer those game over K2 and Socom .

FYI: Most of these critics aren't very skilled gamers. It amazes me how they nit and pick this game and half of the time their comments are based on the fact that they really haven't sat down and learned how Socom is supposed to be played.

They come in as a noobie and write their article based on a noobies perspective . Socom is not an easy game but once you master it you will know why alot of people love it and why alot of people prefer COD.
