Fanboys who care about sales so much should switch over to the Wii. The Wii has sold faster than anything so far and those of you think sales are so important should be Wii loyalists, otherwise you are hypocrites.

Any sensible gamer cares about one thing: the quality of the games he/she gets to play. Not whether a game has sold 1 million or 3 million.

No, you're wrong dude. I didn't start out a fan of the PS3. In fact I was more of a fan of the 360, but the PS3 won me over by the quality of its exclusives. Games like Killzone 2, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Heavenly Sword, and Motor Storm are some of my favorite games this generation. I still like my 360, aside from the poor reliability, but only a moron doesn't give props to the quality of games coming out on the PS3.

but Killzone 2 hasn't reached 1 million in sales in the U.S. yet. The 1 million figure is worldwide much like all the numbers listed.

Where's the love for Valkyria Chronicles? By far my favorite game on the PS3 yet. The top 5 from the article works, but why stop at 5?

7. Heavenly Sword
8. Ratchet and Clank

These are just 10 off the top of my head and don't include GT:P since it's technically a demo along with the loveless LAIR and Haze which were both good games despite what the masses say. If you are a potential PS3 only gamer, you can easily double that list with multi-platform games if you are looking for a reason to justify the purchase.

2.1 - R+C was really that good?
All I played was the demo but it seemed like more of a kiddie game - at least LBP has crossover appeal.

I actually like the fact that flower is on this list, that game is easily one of the better network games to come out in a while for XBL or PSN.

I wish they could make a full fledged game that uses the sixaxis as well as flower. Whenever I show one of my friends all my PS3 games they always get stuck on that one.

This is why so many people missed out on the PS2 R&C games, and the greatness of Patapon and Loco Roco.

It's fun in a childish, platformer sort of way, but it's certainly no revolution of gaming. Flower on the hand, totally deserves to be on that list.

But LBP? Please.

And could this guy sound like less of a noob? "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots pushed the Playstation 3’s audio capabilities with crystal clear sound effects, top notch voice acting and a cinematic soundtrack." This feels like grasping at straws. All the elements crammed into that game, and all you can say is something horrifically generic about the crystal clear sound effects and great voice acting?
Weren't those included in MGS2 and MGS3? Weren't those aspects of PS2 games?

I've yet to see anything about MAG which blows me away, not that I'm writing it off. I'm in the wait and see section and will happily eat my own words when it's released if I'm wrong.

3.3 - Its way too early for M.A.G.
That game could easily fall into Resistance territory - decent but not great.

But GOW3 and GT5 are pretty much shoe-ins. Then again, you have to think about the new David Jaffe project(twisted metal?), the new team ICO project, and the new quantic dreams game heavy rain. Those all have major potential.

One game I thought should have been on this list was MGS5. It was refreshing to play a game that actually had an interesting story. I felt that story elevated other parts of the game that would have normally been average.

Killzone 2=Confirmed to have sold over 1 Million copies in less than 2 months of release.

Flower=Nobody including you knows how many times it was downloaded.

MGS4=Confirmed to have crossed the 4 Million mark by Konami.

Uncharted=Confirmed to have crossed the 2 Million mark.

LittleBigPlanet:Confirmed to have crossed the 2 Million mark based on the amount of unique users.

Well, I love Killzone 2 and Uncharted and I don't really agree that Killzone 2 blows away Uncharted. I mean, KZ2 definitely looks better in some ways, but there are things about Uncharted that look better than any other game that I have seen. All in all I think they are pretty close and I would say they are probably the two best looking games out there at the moment.

I think Killzone 2 looks more technically impressive, but for me the art style of uncharted is far prettier to look at.

The fact is they are both beautiful games, but one has glorious colour schemes and lush environments while the other is set in a gritty war environment which just is not as pretty.
