Sony PS3 The Getaway Release Date?

Besides a teaser at 2005's E3. The Getaway for the ps3 has been under wraps for some time now. With dwindling thirdparty exclusives Sony needs to look for 1st party games for some footing in the Next Gen Race. Thats where the stable franchises are born. Gamestop has placed a release that for The Getaway. The first of July. The steady flow of games continues with games like Lair, Heavenly Sword, The Getaway.

what are you talking about most PS2 games got an average score of 6 or better that is if they were even scored at all. Just because you don't like all the different and diverse games for the PS2 is no reason to criticize its game library.

8 - pre-order release date ?

I think its a release date for the pre-order. So it could come out months after that. Still, fall '07 is earlier than expected. I don't think they do preorders on games more than 6 months out.

Deep brown I think people haven't really checked out this game.
It has also been used for tech demos at GDC.
I also think that people underestimate the amount of games that are actually in production that we know nothing about.
Money is there to be made and developers realize it, no console is going to "loose" this time around

There has been much advice from the developer community to not announce games until they are near finalment. And many games we heard of two years ago have been hiding (wardevil?).

But never liked either The Getaway or The Getaway 2. I liked the way it was in london n stuff, but the game always seemed to bore me. Used to the love The Italian Job on the PS1 (or 2 cant remember) though. That was great. lol.

Maybe this Getaway will be better :)

Ill rent this one for the fact that the second getaway sucks and the first one was an ok game, the short v-clip they got of this game is kind of interesting by having a scar on the face that is one of the most realistic vid i seen but then again is not in game, my hopes are all on 2days 2vegas or gta4, lets hope it feutures censor...
