How Sony Can Drastically Improve Their New Text Chat Feature

for all of you that dont know. this is an april fools joke. expect an announcment latter this week. voice chat is comming.

the text chat was implamented to fix the cross game invite problem. as you know microsoft has a patten on it and this is the only way we could get around it. you guys complain so much! its impossible to please you guys

One of my friends names "Simon" is censored for some reason...

I have a bluetooth keyboard and i have to backspace so i can hyphenate my sentences.

Apart from that this is a great feature, and I cannot wait for MOAR!

As I commented there, I don't agree with the notification that someone is playing a game or not - that's just going to flood the screen with messages.

But the rest I agree with, and have a few things to add:

- a message when someone logs out or chooses to leave a chat room

- auto-login option for at least one chat room in the list

- invite notification for chat rooms not logged into, but still in the list

3 - Its plagued with so many problems
that I'm doubting that sony would intentionally release such a feature because its so pointless and just a waste of resources. Because of that I'm certain they will fix that current text chat problems and will add voice chat, hence why we see it present but is whited out.

now ill open a new window on my PS3 browser to youtube and copy and past this great video i found

What the hell were they thinking? The feature is really cool but they seriously censored the word "crap" in a private chat and you can barely type that much in the chat rooms. I hope it gets fixed soon.

You've always been able to voice chat or video chat with upto 7 people, just not while playing a game. Now u can txt chat in game with upto 15 other people. U can still communicate with ur bro, but at the moment, no cross game voice chat. U can still chat if ur in the same mp game.
