2 - This kinda reminds me of...
Battlefield.... only that it's 3rd person, way more fast paced and focuses more on aerial combat. I didn't like the fact that they took out the single player campain at first, but if they can keep the multiplayer gameplay good and fastpaced then not having single player will be a thing in the past. Afterall look at how successful battlefield got as an online game. If this game is done right, warhawk might be the game that starts getting the PSN and PS3 alot more credit and respect then they have been getting.

3 - Nice!
I guess I better get the 160 gig HDD soon, this will be a must buy for online. I don't think downloadable games are usually a must buy but I guess Sony is looking to change that.

6 - Wow!!
This game looks like a lot of fun. I have to admit I was disappointed when I heard the single player was dropped. However, I find myself playing the online portion of shooter games more than the single player anyway. Halo 1&2 and SOCOM 2&3 are a few of the games that I could have played without single player and still have been perfectly happy.

Yes and? This is Warhawk 2...
Haha no worries...didn't mean to sound patronising. Yeah I've never played it either, just new that this game was a return to the franchise. It was originally just flying through levels and shooting things on the ps1...

Haha, I wasn't aware of the first one(s), C64 and PS1 (same version, just C64 on PS1?)....yeah pretty much out of my time as a gamer, didn't really start playing video games until I bought a PS2...thanks for letting me know.

Call me crazy but im almost sure this game could of been released on Blu-ray. I believe by them doing this its a PSN sign up push in disguise. They want encourage people to sign up for PSN and by doing things like this you kinda of have no choice if you want to enjoy games like this.
BTW: This is looking like a Triple A title and it being only a download makes it even more impressive.

8.1 - Don't know!
Why release a game on Blu-ray that could just be downloaded, it cuts out the middle man of having to make copies of the disk or the distribution cost etc. I would agree with you that they are pushing an agenda to expand PSN use, but ALL PS3s have a HDD so its not that big of a deal.
I think its a quality game for the downloadable section of PSN that will garner a lot of attention for the type of quality Sony will be trying to offer. For what I have seen, downloadable games on XBL and PSN tend to lack a certain quality that games on disk posses and it just seems like Sony is trying to change that with WH. Perhaps smaller developers will begin to release stronger titles for download in the future and they could save money in other areas by just releasing the game in downloadable form.
The 4-player split screen on demand is very nice, if you have company over they can join in at will. Its nice when developers can admit that a portion of their work was garbage, they tossed out the useless bits and focused on what worked. Looks like they want to polish it up to a high gloss and get it out. More developers should take a note.
BTW: Here is a brand new image of Mass Effect that was just posted, enjoy.

8.3 - Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!
Yea, one of my buddies sent this to me during class, it was so funny I couldn't pass up sharing it with you fine folks, thought someone would get a kick out of this. Just a joke thats all, with all the flaming that goes on, I thought someone could use some humor from time to time. Mass Effect looks sick.
And BTW if a chick has balls then technically its no chick, hahahahaha.

9.1 - Yes but
As much as I was disappointed about the first player loss this could in the long run be a far better move. If they can simply expand on the download easily over time we may get Storyline only games in the series that won't need to utilize the space or processing power to incorporate online for skirmishes.
I'm kinda looking forward to seeing if they do a large storyline game later on with multi-player function that isn't the standard modes. Like Single/multi storyline through onebox with online-co-op and keeping the competitive online separate this way.
It would be a good move as people unfamiliar with the storyline may still want it for competitive gameplay and people not interested in online deathmatches could still get storymode separately. Making them different games would give them a more streamlined way of organizing budget and possibly avoid becoming a game where storyline or online play would be sacraficed to benefit the other. I hate it when companies add both but only bother doing one well.

10 - Screw single player
Just like battlefield 2 and counter strike have already proven, online multiplayer blows away single player games. Lets face it, once you go through a single player campaign thats it. You have been there seen it done that. But multi is so much fun, and so much replay value. This game looks amazing. And thats coming from someone who HATES third person perspective! But I'll put up with that to enjoy what this game is offering.
